Do you know ‘KulCha’? No, we are not talking about the Indian soft flatbread you gobble with yummy chole. After the tasty delicacy, the country has given us another famous ‘KulCha’ and it is none other than Team India members, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal! The young wrist spinners who played a key role in registering India’s historic ODI series win beating South Africa in their own backyard are an excited duo. Kuldeep and Chahal are not only bowling partners on the cricket field but also great buddies off it. Given a quirky moniker Kulcha (first three letters of Kuldeep and Chahal), Team India besties wished their fans a Happy Valentine’s Day on the special occasion.
Yuzvendra Chahal joined by his teammate and friend took to Twitter to wish beloved fans on the day of love. The 27-year-old writes, “Kul and Cha are feeling good after wrapping up the series and making history. Wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's day #kulcha #bromance #indvssa #30andcounting #spintwins”. It is indeed a special gesture coming from the ‘spin twin’ who left the South African batsmen bamboozled with their deliveries.

Chosen over side’s mainstays R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, the young guns proved the selection right. They delivered with match-winning performance consistently to help India seal the series 4-1 with a game to spare in the six-match competition. The pair broke the record for taking most wickets by an overseas spinner in a bilateral ODI series in South Africa, by going past West Indies Keith Arthurton’s record of 12 wickets taken in seven-match ODI series during the 1998-1999 season.

It was Chahal who first went past West Indies' all-rounder's mark with a total of 13 wickets so far in the series. But it was overtaken by 23-year-old Kuldeep who has 16 wickets to his name. He is also the highest wicket-taker in the series so far. It has been a special tour for the young guns who showed much character in living up to the expectations of their captain and management. However, their job is not yet over with skipper Virat Kohli already announcing to not be easy with Proteas in the last one-day match. Also, there are three twenty20 matches to be played and Indian team will depend on the KulCha to deliver the spin magic again.
