After sealing the T20Is and ODI series Team India is preparing for the ICC World Test Championship starts which begins for Men in Blue with the match against West Indies. Ahead of the match on August 22, the team will play a three-day practice game which starts from today. Yesterday, the Indian team sweated it out in the nets ahead of the game. Rohit Sharma who has been recalled for the Test matches also joined the nets session along with the other players. Jasprit Bumrah who was rested after the CWC 2019 returned to the squad and will be seen in action for the longer format of the game. All eyes will be on Ajinkya Rahane who will be looking forward to giving his best in the longer format. Meanwhile, as per reports, it is said that Indian skipper Virat Kohli might be rested for the practice game as he is suffering from the thumb injury which happened to him during the third ODI. With a tournament like World Test Championships beginning in less than a week, it is quite obvious that the team management would not want to lose a player like Virat Kohli.
