The Indian Cricket Team has boarded a special Air India Flight from Barbados and will land in Delhi on July 4. The Rohit Sharma-led side was left stranded in Barbados for a few days after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 in India after Hurricane Beryl hit. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) arranged a special Air India flight, which will now bring the Indian cricketers and the support staff back to the country.

The Prime Minister of Barbados, Madam Mia Mottley is on the ground and she has an update regarding the ground situation in Barbados. As per many reports, Hurricane Beryl has reached category 4 which will lead to heavy rainfall all across the island region which will make it land commutes. The Barbados airport is expected to resume services from Tuesday and the Indian team can be expected to return back at the end of this week. However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah has assured that every possible step to ensure Team India's safety and bring back home are being made.
