After the Indian Premier League 2019 (IPL) players from Maharashtra will take part in the second edition of T20 Mumbai League. The T20 Mumbai League 2019 is scheduled to take place between May 14 to May 26. All the matches of the T20 Mumbai League 2019 will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Some of the prominent players to take part in the T20 Mumbai League are Ajinkya Rahane, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shardul Thakur. T20 Mumbai League 2019: Eight Teams to Compete For the Title of 2nd Edition Mumbai League.

The 2019 edition of the T20 Mumbai League will see the addition of two new teams- Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs and Eagle Thane Strikers. Besides them, North Mumbai Panthers, NaMo Bandra Blasters, Triumph Knights Mumbai North East, ARCS Andheri, SoBo SuperSonics and Shivaji Park Lions will be in action.

The eight teams have been divided into two groups of four each. Each team will play three inter-group matches and then two intra-group games. The inaugural season of T20 Mumbai League was played in round-robin format followed by playoffs. Triumph Knights Mumbai North East won the first edition of the league after defeating Shivaji Park Lions by three runs in the final.
