T10 League, Season 2 draft pick saw all the franchises complete their squads on September 26, in Dubai. The ‘shortest format’ of the game will see star players of the T20 format team-up and compete at a global level. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has been appointed as the ‘League Icon’ of the T10 League, 2018.
Fans will enjoy seeing their favourite players Chris Gayle, Shahid Afridi, Rashid Khan, Dwayne Bravo, Brendon McCullum. Andre Russell, Shane Watson, Darren Sammy amongst others return to action in one of the most exciting forms of cricket.
The teams have been formed, the dates have been finalised, and the venues are decided. As the T10 League nears, we take a look at the complete squads of all the teams – Kerala Kings, Pakhtoons, Maratha Arabians, Bengal Tigers, Rajputs, Northern Warriors, Punjabi Legends, and Karachians – which will be vying to lay their hand on the 2018 T10 League trophy.
1. Kerala Kings | Icon Player: Eoin Morgan | Coach: Daniel Vettori
Defending champions, Kerala Kings would be looking to repeat their performance this year too. England’s Eoin Morgan will lead the team. The team will be bolstered by the presence of Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, and Sohail Tanvir. Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane will be playing for Kerala Kings too.

Pakhtoons will be banking on the capabilities of Shahid Afridi, Colin Ingram, and Colin Munro to see their side through. Afghanistan’s Gulbadin Naib was one of the most consistent performers at Asia Cup 2018. How much of help can he be to his team in the shorter format would be quite a spectacle!

The wonder-spinner from Afghanistan Rashid Khan has been appointed as the Icon Player of the franchise. The core of the team is formed by T20 specialists Alex Hales, Dwayne Bravo, James Faulkner, and Lasith Malinga. It will be exciting to see Wasim Akram back in action (off-the-field) as he has been appointed as the coach of Maratha Arabians.

A newly-emerged all-rounder Sunil Narine will be the icon player for Bengal Tigers. The key players for Bengal Tigers this year would be Jason Roy, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Morne Morkel, and Sam Billings. It will be intriguing to see CSK coach (and former New Zealand player) Stephen Flemming coach the side.

With Brendon McCullum and Chris Lynn in the side, the Rajputs are one of the most-flamboyant sides in the tournament, on paper. Add to it, the ICC T20 World Cup 2015 hero Carlos Braithwaite in the mix, Rajputs have one of the strongest batting line-ups at T10 League, Season 2.

With Wahab Riaz to spearhead the bowling attack, Lendl Simmons and Dwayne Smith to lead the batting department, and the presence of dynamic all-rounders Darren Sammy, and Andre Russell in the mix, Northern Warriors’ squad looks one of the most settled sides in the tournament.

Shane Watson, while playing for Chennai Super Kings, showed glimpses of his yesteryears’ explosive batting at IPL 2018. He will be looking to carry his form in the shortest form of cricket league. Watson will be seeking to join forces with Jofra Archer Colin De Grandhomme in their quest for T10 League 2018 trophy.
