As Australia vs England semi-final 2 match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is about to begin, players of both the teams were seen engaging in net practice at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on Thursday. In the photos shared by ICC and Cricket World Cup on Twitter, men-in-yellow like Nathan Lyon, Aaron Finch, Matthew Wade, Steve Smith, among others can be toiling hard on the field of Edgbaston in Birmingham, where the game will start from 3 PM on Wednesday. In some other photos, England players were also seen engaging in blowing, batting and fielding practice. Ben Stokes could be seen gearing up with his bowling skills while Joe Root can be seen brushing up his fielding tactics ahead of the semi-final clash against men in yellow.

England aim to outclass Australia

Both Australia and England faced each other in World Cup 2019 during the group stage, with the Aaron Finch side defeating the Eoin Morgan-led team by 64 runs. England has made it to the semi-final of World Cup after 27 years, since playing semi-final and final in 1992, where they were runners-up. On the other hand, Australia won the previous edition of the World Cup in 2015 by defeating New Zealand in final.
