After losing the first match against Bangladesh by 137 runs, Sri Lanka will be playing their second match at the Asia Cup 2018 today against Afghanistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. It was Mushfiqur Rahim’s century that became one of the major reasons for Sri Lanka’s defeat in the first match after Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh put up a total of 261 runs on the board. Mohammad Mithun made the second highest runs scoring 63 off 68 balls. In reply, Sri Lanka could only score 124 runs and the team was sent packing with no batsmen in the batting line-up scoring over 30 runs. Bangladesh Thrash Sri Lanka by 137 runs.  

Sri Lanka will be looking to win the game against Afghanistan to avoid ouster from the Asia Cup 2018 just within three days of commencement of the mega-event.
