Rajasthan Royals (RR0 have returned back to winning ways as they defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2024 eliminator match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and advanced to the Qualifier 2. Rajasthan Royals were in the top two for the majority of the league stage but a slip during the end stages of the league made them play the eliminator against RCB. Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost their Qualifier 1 match against Kolkata Knight Riders and will play in the Qualifier 2 for a chance to enter the final. Travis Head played uncharacteristically on a tough pitch scoring a 58 off 44 deliveries but the main boost came from Nitish Kumar Reddy's 42-ball 76 and Heinrich Klaasen's 19-ball 42 which took them to 201. Chasing it, Yashasvi Jaiswal (77) and Riyan Parag (77) took RR to the finishing line but Rovman Powell got dismissed on the final delivery of the innings with two needed of one ball and SRH grabbed the victory. It was the only time RR faced SRH in IPL 2024.

SRH vs RR IPL 2023 April 2: Rajasthan Royals Won By 72 Runs

Rajasthan Royals grabbed a massive victory in their opening match of IPL 2023 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. RR's top order fired with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler all scoring half-centuries. The trio took them to a total of 203/5. Chasing it, SRH collapsed for 131/8 at the end of 20 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the RR bowlers picking 4 wickets for just 17 runs.
