SRH vs RCB Highlights of VIVO IPL 2O21: Royal Challengers Bangalore Beat Sunrisers Hyderabad By 6 Runs

Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by six runs after successfully defending 149 runs. RCB restricted to 143/9 to win the match and go on top of the points table. Virat Kohli's men have won the opening to matches of an IPL season for only the second time in their history. SRH have lost both of their games in IPL 2021.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have turned the match around and beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by six runs to win the match and make two wins on the trot. This is the second time RCB have won both of their opening two matches in an IPL season. Sunrisers Hyderabad, who were in control at one stage, lost eight wickets for 46 runs to concede a defeat.

OUT! Abdul Samad follows Manish Pandey and Jonny Bairstow back. All three went for the big shot and perished. Bairstow was out caught by De Villiers. Manish Pandey followed him in the very next delivery after offering a simple catch to Harshal Patel at short third-man and then three deliveries later Abdul Samad top-edged it straight at mid-off where Shahbaz took a simple return catch.

OUT! Kyle Jamieson eventually gets the breakthrough for  RCB. The tall New Zealand pacer dismisses David Warner, who departs after completing his half-century. David Warner and Manish Pandey have kept the scoreboard ticking and given Sunrisers Hyderabad the advantage in the chase. The pair have already stitched a 64-run stand and taken SRH closer to home. Hyderabad now need 73 runs in 60 balls to win the match.

David Warner and Manish Pandey have put Sunrisers Hyderabad in command of chasing down 150 runs against RCB. Warner has been smashing the RCB bowlers around and is batting on 29 from just 16 deliveries while Pandey is giving him company with 20 from 18 balls.

OUT! Mohammed Siraj strikes early and gets the first breakthrough for RCB. He troubled Wriddhiman Saha in the previous over and has now dismissed him. Saha was struggling to get going and tried to break the shackles but is caught by Glenn Maxwell at backward point. W Saha c Maxwell b Siraj 1(9)

Jason Holder gets his third wicket off the final ball of the innings and stops Maxwell and RCB from posting 150 runs on the scoreboard. Maxwell is dismissed after making a fine 59 from 41 balls to take RCB this far after they were struggling at 95/4 at one stage.

OUT! Kyle Jamieson departs after a short cameo. Jason Holder gets the breakthrough for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Jamieson picks the full ball from Holder and smashes it but loses control of his bat. Manish Pandey takes a good catch at long-on. Jamieson c Manish Pandey b Holder 12(9)

OUT! Now T Natarajan gets a wicket and RCB are folding fast here. Daniel Christian departs after making 1 run. Natarajan bowls full and wide off the case which Christian chases but only gets a thick edge to wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha who takes a good catch. RCB have also lost a review.

OUT! Jason Holder gets the important breakthrough of Virat Kohli and Sunrisers Hyderabad are back in the game. Holder bowled a short delivery on Kohli's pads and the RCB captain flicked it towards the square-leg boundary where Vijay Shankar runs and takes a good catch. Rashid Khan and Shahbaz Nadeem have kept things in control at the middle. Their combined three overs have only produced 11 runs with Kohli and Maxwell struggling to keep scoring freely. Maxwell is batting on 7 from 13 balls. 

OUT! Shahbaz Nadeem gets the breakthrough for SRH with his first delivery and removed Shahbaz Ahmed. Rashid Khan takes a good low catch deep mid-wicket. First ball from Nadeem and Shahbaz danced down the track and looked to attack him. OUT! Bhuvneshwar Kumar gets the first breakthrough for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Devdutt Padikkal has to go back. He departs for 11 runs. Padikkal pulled a length delivery from Kumar but could not time it to perfection. Shahbaz Nadeem takes a good low catch at mid-wicket. Devdutt Padikkal c Nadeem b Bhuvneshwar 11(13) 

Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli have given RCB a quick start. The pair have scored 11 runs in the first two overs. After Kohli took six runs off Bhuvneshwar Kumar's opening over, Padikkal smashes Jason Holder for two boundaries and takes 10 runs off the over.
