SRH Win By 31 Runs | SRH vs MI Highlights of IPL 2024: Heinrich Klaasen, Pat Cummins Power Hosts to Big Win in High-Scoring Contest

That's It! What a game! Over 500 runs scored in a match! SRH has finally breathed easy as they have secured a memorable victory here. MI were strongly in the chase till the 13th over but a four-over spell from Pat Cummins, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jaydev Unadkat sucked the momentum out of their innings. SRH are comfortably over the line and they will cherish the win here. 

Out! Hardik Pandya's struggling knock comes to an end. He has tried to hit the balls for boundaries but couldn't find the connection and timing. This time just skies a slower bounce and he has to return to the dugout. Going to be a steep ask for MI in the last two overs. 

After a quiet spell of four overs, Tim David has finally latched on to Bhuvneshwar Kumar and opened up the game once again. It is still a tough ask for MI but the carnage of boundaries continue. Fans are up for a big finish. 

Pat Cummins strikes! He sends dangerous Tilak Varma back just after the break. Varma eyes for yet another big shot, fails to go the distance and Mayank Agarwal near long-on takes the catch. 

Mumbai Indians are very much in the game as Tilak Varma scores his half-century. Captain Hardik Pandya has joined Tilak in the middle after the fall of Naman Dhir's wicket. MI need 113 runs more to win from 48 ball.

Finally, Umran Malik returns to action as he features in the 7th over of SRH vs MI match coming in as impact sub. Meanwhile, Tilak Varma and Naman Dhir try to continue the ball-striking. 

Out! Pat Cummins gets the big fish Rohit Sharma. Rohit had no option to keep attacking and after nonchalantly hitting the opposition captain for a six, he goes for another one. Couldn't connect well and it get taken in the deep. 

Out! There is no end of actions from this game. Pat Cummins brings Shahbaz Ahmed in attack, gets whacked in the first ball for six and then comes back strong dismissing him in the next ball. Rohit Sharma got dropped in the same over as Abdul Samad dropped his catch. 

Boundaries are somethings that fans have seen aplenty tonight, and it doesn't seem like stopping soon as Mumbai Indians have raced to 50 run mark in no time. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan have come out all guns blazing and gave MI a solid start. 

New Record! Sunrisers Hyderabad breach the record of the highest total in one innings of IPL history as they post a total of 277/3 on the board against Mumbai Indians. Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen put up some unbelievable hitting on display and break the record set by Royal Challengers Bengaluru. 

SRH set another team record as they go past their previous highest score of 231. The momentum of SRH was restricted a little by Jasprit Bumrah's spell but not so much as Heinrich Klaasen and Aiden Makram look to make the end overs big. A solid foundation laid by Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma and now SRH near a strong finish.

Out! After amplifying the destruction caused by Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma returns to the dugout. Piyush Chawla uses all his experience to give MI the breakthrough. Things doesn't look good for MI already and they will need a miracle to turn things around. 

Crazy ball striking from Abhishek Sharma as he breaks Travis Head's record from the same match of scoring the fastest half-century for SRH. He races to his half-century in just 16 deliveries and looks to make it big. SRH are in for a very, very big score. 

Out! Relief for Mumbai Indians. After a monstrous knock of 32 off just 24 balls, Travis Head has departed as he top edges one from Gerald Coetzee to the hands of Jasprit Bumrah. SRH have went way forward in the game and MI have to catch up here.  

Fifty! Some brutal hitting from Travis Head and he races to his half-century in just 18 deliveries. None of the Mumbai Indians bowlers could stop the run flow as Head just kept plundering them for boundaries and more boundaries. Solid start from SRH here. 

Out! Much needed breakthrough for Mumbai Indians. Not the dismissal they wanted, but they will be content to bring a new batter in. Mayank Agarwal tries to take on the shorter one from Hardik Pandya and only ends up being caught at mid-on.
