Kolkata Knight Riders beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in super over to win the match and take home all 2 points. The game looked over for them after David Warner plundered Andre Russell for three consecutive boundaries to take the equation to 4 runs from 2 balls. But Russell came back with two good balls and the match headed into a super over. Lockie Ferguson then continued his good run and bowled Warner in the first ball before doing the same to Abdul Samad. KKR needed 3 runs to win and Karthik and captain Morgan took them home with 2 deliveries remaining. 

Dinesh Karthik and Eoin Morgan take 2 runs off a leg-bye to win the super over and clinch the tie. Morgan opened the scoring with a sweep in the second delivery and Karthik took 2 from a leg-bye two deliveries later to seal the win

KKR needs 3 runs to win the super over and add to their tally. it was terrific bowling from Lockie Ferguson who took 3 wickets in the match and 2 more in the super over. Rashid Khan to bowl the super over for SRH. Dinesh Karthik and Eoin Morgan are at the crease for KKR.

Its a Super Over!! SRH needed 18 runs from the final over and David Warner smashed Andre Russell for three successive boundaries to make it 4 runs from 2 balls. But Russell comes back with two great deliveries and the match has gone into a super over.

Lockie Ferguson bowls another tidy over and give away only seven runs in his final over. Ferguson ends his spell with 3/15 and Sunrisers need 30 from the final 2 overs to win the match. 

OUT! Pat Cummins gets his first wicket in seven matches. Vijay Shankar is the man dismissed. A crucial wicket for KKR as Shankar departs for 7 runs. A short delivery from Cummins and Shankar wanted to pull but the pace did him and he edges the ball straight to Shubman Gill at backward point. Shankar c Shubman Gill b Cummins 7(10)

OUT! Kane Williamson departs after giving Sunrisers Hyderabad a good start. Lockie Ferguson gets a wicket with his first delivery in IPL 2020. Kane Williamson and Jonny Bairstow have given Sunrisers Hyderabad a flying start to begin with.  The pair have stitched a 58-run opening stand in just 6 overs. Williamson, batting with a troubled hamstring, has hit 29 from 18 deliveries with four boundaries and six over fine leg while Bairstow has also scored 28 but from a ball-less. SRH are off to a flyer. 

Jonny Bairstow and Kane Williamson have started the chase for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Williamson has a hamstring problem and is not able to run properly. So he is out there playing his shots. Williamson hit Shivam Mavi for two fours and Bairstow complemented with two boundaries off Varun Chakravarti. 

Dinesh Karthik and Eoin Morgan have powered KKR to 163 runs in 20 overs. KKR looked way short of what they eventually got at the of 15 overs after Andre Russell was dismissed for just 9 runs. But Karthik started the late onslaught with two boundaries off Thampi and scored 29 off 14 deliveries with the help of two fours and as many sixes. Morgan was out of the final delivery after making 34 from 23 balls. The pair added 58 from the final 5 overs. T Natarajan was the star bowler for SRH with two big wickets, including that of Russell.

OUT! Eoin Morgan is dismissed in the final ball of the innings. But he has done his job. The KKR captain is out for 34 runs off 23 deliveries with three fours and one six. The final delivery from Thampi was full an wide outside off and Morgan looked to heave it over long-off but couldn't middle it. Dinesh Karthik at his best. The former KKR captain looks in great touch today. He ended the 17th over with a gorgeous cover drive and adds another boundary to his count with a six over deep square leg. Morgan at the other end has kept the scoreboard ticking.
