Kolkata Knight Riders beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in super over to win the match and take home all 2 points. The game looked over for them after David Warner plundered Andre Russell for three consecutive boundaries to take the equation to 4 runs from 2 balls. But Russell came back with two good balls and the match headed into a super over. Lockie Ferguson then continued his good run and bowled Warner in the first ball before doing the same to Abdul Samad. KKR needed 3 runs to win and Karthik and captain Morgan took them home with 2 deliveries remaining.
Dinesh Karthik and Eoin Morgan take 2 runs off a leg-bye to win the super over and clinch the tie. Morgan opened the scoring with a sweep in the second delivery and Karthik took 2 from a leg-bye two deliveries later to seal the win

Kane Williamson and Jonny Bairstow have given Sunrisers Hyderabad a flying start to begin with. The pair have stitched a 58-run opening stand in just 6 overs.
