Sunrisers Hyderabad registered their second win of the tournament and what a win this is for them! Pat Cummins and his side have bounced back in remarkable fashion from the loss against Gujarat Titans and moved to the fifth place on the IPL 2024 points table. For Chennai Super Kings, it is a matter of concern as they now have lost back-to-back games this season. A total of 165/5 was never going to enough for CSK, especially against a side like SRH who have so many explosive players. And the target did not even prove to be challenging with Sunrisers getting there having 11 balls to spare. Ruturaj Gaikwad will now need to do some thinking behind the scenes if CSK are to bounce back in the tournament.

Ravindra Jadeja scored 31 runs off 23 deliveries but the real star of the innings was Shivam Dube, who smashed 45 runs off 24 balls and was by far the best player for the reigning champions.
