Stumps! Day 2 has been quite an engaging one for fans, with both sides having their moments all across the day. South Africa would be the most happy with the outcome on Day 2, firstly with Corbin Bosch stretching their lead, and then the bowlers coming to the party and restricting Pakistan in their second innings. Pakistan, meanwhile, will feel they have let go of the contest, with both bat and ball. Babar Azam and the late middle-order will be the key for Pakistan on Day 3.  

So umpires converge and decide that the light in the middle has gotten worse, and have asked the batters, and the fielder to go back into the dressing room. South Africa will be happier of the two sides to walk off the field, while Pakistan with the fall of Kamran Ghulam's wicket will be a bit disappointed. 

OUT! Marco Jansen gets his second in as many overs. The hero from the first innings, Kamran Ghulam fails to impress in the second innings. OUT! Marco Jansen provides South Africa with a breakthrough and removes Pakistan skipper Shan Masood. Masood pushed his bat towards the fourth-stump line and handed a simple catch to Tristan Stubbs in the slip. Pakistan are still 20-odd runs behind and have lost both their openers. This has been a perfect start for Pakistan, with both openers Saim Ayub and Shah Masood looking to score runs, rather than just defending. Saim, in particular, has continued his good form in white-ball cricket and has struck four fours already. 

Saim Ayub and Shan Masood are out in the middle for Pakistan and will look to reduce the deficit as soon as possible, without losing their wicket in the process. South Africa will bank on their bowlers to make early in-roads. Ayub is already off the mark in style hitting two fours. 

OUT!  Dane Paterson falls to a false shot as South Africa bundled out for 301, and have managed to gain a crucial 90-run lead. Corbin Bosch is playing a stellar knock and has brought South Africa back in the Test. Bosch is showing great temperament, and also putting bat to ball when need be. Bosch and Dane Paterson have added 37 runs for the 10th wicket, helping South Africa take an 80-run lead. 

FIFTY! This has been a stellar debut for Corbin Bosch, who first performed with the ball, and now stars for South Africa with the bat. Bosch registered his maiden Test half-century in 46 balls, which were laced with 10 fours. 

OUT!  Aamir Jamel comes into the attack and gets Pakistan a much-needed wicket. Kagiso Rabada tried to heave the ball over the boundary line and managed to just hand Babar Azam a simple catch. Radaba ensured that South Africa's lead is nearing 50. Rabada c Babar Azam b Aamer Jamal 13(15)

Debutant Corbin Bosch is playing a blinder of a knock for South Africa, who at one-point looked to gain a marginal lead. Bosch has played his shots fearless, and moved onto 44 while adding 30 runs with Kagiso Rabada for the ninth wicket. Pakistan will want to keep South Africa's lead to as low as possible. 

OUT! Khurram Shahzad finally gets his first wicket of the day, after looking off-colour in the first session. Shahzad dismisses the well-set Aiden Markram, who got stuck in the late 80s and witnessed other players just gift their wicket away. The unexpected short-ball became Markram's undoing. OUT! Another South African batter bites the dust. Marco Jansen after being dropped on the earlier delivery, again poked outside the off-stump line and perished against Naseem Shah, who has managed to claim his third wicket. OUT! Naseem Shah is breathing fire in the middle. Shah gets his second wicket of the day and dismisses the dangerous Kyle Verreynne for a 13-ball 2. OUT! Naseem Shah provides Pakistan with a much-needed breakthrough. The Aiden Markram-David Bedingham partnership looked to take South Africa into the lead, but the latter departed for 30. Bedingham played a nothing shot and perished adding 42 runs with Markram, who is batting on 81. They will soon complete the 50-run partnership mark. The Proteas men are not in the mood to give away early wickets. Pakistan bowlers have to find a way to get some wickets to gain control.

Temba Bavuma and Aiden Markram are out in the middle and the two will look to stay together at the crease for the longest time possible in order to not just overhaul Pakistan's first innings total but also take a significant lead.
