BCCI shared a photo from the selection meeting of upcoming India vs Bangladesh 2019 series. On Twitter, BCCI shared the photo in which new BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were seen together. BCCI announced the Indian squad for upcoming Bangladesh home series 2019 on Thursday. Twitterati were happy to see the Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma and captain Virat Kohli together in the photo. Rumours of rifts between the two had started doing the rounds after ICC CWC World Cup 2019. However, such rumours were denied by both the cricketers on many occasions. Some fans also pointed out that Ganguly is a great leader and diplomat. "Ganguly is a fantastic diplomat. Knows how to keep everyone together with him. The best decision ever made by BCCI", a user wrote. Talking about India’s squad for IND vs BAN series, Virat Kohli has been given rest in the T20I series. Rohit Sharma will be leading the team in the three T20Is. The squad for Test series include Rohit Sharma (C), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Rahul Chahar, Deepak Chahar, Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant(wk), Washington Sundar, Krunal Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Khaleel Ahmed, Shivam Dube and Shardul Thakur.

Kohli will be the skipper of the Test team, slated to start from November 14. Other players in the Test squad against Bangladesh include Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Ajinkya Rahane, Hanuma Vihari, Saha (wk), R Jadeja, R Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Cheteshwar Pujara, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant.
