India scripted history on January 7, when they defeated Australia 2-1 in the 4-match Test series. After the constant rain didn’t let any play to continue on the fifth day, the fourth Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground ended in a draw. Almost every player took to their social media profile in celebrating the historic victory, and so did Chesteshwar Pujara.

“It's a terrific win. They played excellent cricket throughout, and the batting clicked. They scored 400-600 runs, and that was the key,” said Ganguly commenting on India’s heroic victory.

When asked to compare the side that toured Australia during the 2003-04 series, Ganguly outrightly denied any comparison. He said, “I don’t compare ever. India, under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly, had played valiantly against Australia in 2003-04 Test series.
