Just after the CWC 2019 match against Afghanistan, MS Dhoni had been in the eye of the storm for his slow innings. Dhoni scored 28 runs from 52 balls at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton. Post this, the former Indian captain got trolled by the netizens. However, the bashing was not limited to social media but even off the field as Sachin Tendulkar blasted at Dhoni for his slow innings. He said, Dhoni being the senior player he faced too many dot balls and he needs to up his ante when it comes to strike rotation. Now, Sourav Ganguly in an interview has backed Dhoni and said that he will come back stronger. Sachin Tendulkar Trolled by MS Dhoni Fans After Master Blaster Criticises Former Captain's Slow Batting Approach During ICC CWC 2019, IND vs AFG Match.

He said that Dhoni should not be judged on the basis of one game."At the end of the day, MSD is a very good batsman and he will definitely prove that in this year's World Cup 2019 as well despite his sticky form against Afghanistan. It's just one match," said Ganguly, as quoted by DNA.

Dhoni came on to bat when the scoreboard read 122 for the loss of three wickets. He added 57 runs along with Kedar Jadhav. MS Dhoni hasn’t got enough chances to bat in the CWC 2019 so far. He has so far made 90 runs in the tournament. We are sure that MS Dhoni would be waiting to silence his critics with an amazing performance.  Inda will next take on West Indies on Thursday, June 27, 2019.
