Indian opener Smriti Mandhana slammed her career’s maiden T20 century. The Indian achieved the feat during the Women's Cricket Super League match between Western Storm and Lancashire Thunder. This comes after, Mandhana recently scored 18-ball half-century to record joint-fastest fifty in women’s T20. Courtesy, Mandhana’s 102 off 61 balls, Western Storm defeated Lancashire Thunder by seven wickets. Mandhana’s knock was decorated with 12 fours and four sixes.

In response, Western Storm lost the wicket of Rachel Priest early on in the first over. Mandhana then shared then shared the 41-run stand for the second wicket with captain Heather Knight. After Heather’s departure, Mandhana took her side close to the target with a 105-run partnership with Stafanie Taylor.
Mandhana, however, was dismissed in the 19th over soon after she completed her century. Western Storm then reached the target with Taylor finishing unbeaten on 33.
Mandhana averages 94 in the tournament and thus far has been in superb touch by scoring 48, 37, 52 and 43 before her century. She apparently is the highest run-getter in the tournament and has scored 282 runs.
