For quite a long time, the cricketers i.e. Sachin and Bradman were compared for their playing style. However, Bradman acknowledged that Master Blaster was the greatest cricketer of all times. In the book, ‘Bradman’s Best’ it is written, “He was most taken in by Tendulkar’s technique, compactness and his shot production and had asked his wife to have a look at the Indian as he felt that Tendulkar played like he had. Jessie agreed that they appeared similar.”
Having scored 6996 runs in 52 matches, Bradman scored 29 centuries and 13 half centuries. It was in 2001, then Australian Prime Minister John Howard called him the “greatest living Australian. Even the International Cricket Council inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2009.
