India won the third ODI against New Zealand by seven wickets and thus clinched the five-match ODI series by 3-1 at the Oval Bay in Mount Maunganui. Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal snapped a couple of wickets each. Mohammed Shami got three wickets giving away 41 runs and went on to become the Man of the Match. With this, Kiwis got out on the score of 243 runs and won the series by 3-0. Shami said, “It’s really difficult to bowl against the wind. One comes with the wind and the other is against the wind. It is difficult but not too hard. Bhuvi at the other end was also a great help. Talking about the match, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli powered India to win the series by making 62 and 60 runs respectively. The Indian captain during the post-match presentation ceremony said that he can relax after winning the series. “Amazing, three clinical games from us, the relentlessness of the side pleasing. Haven't had a break for a while, hectic Australia tour and now this. We are three-nil up so I can relax a little.”
