Ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Pakistan is playing five-match ODI series against England. The first match was won by England and the hosts continued their winning streak by winning the second game despite the Sarafraz Ahmed and team putting up a mammoth of 358 runs on the board. The defeat at the Bristol County Ground has surely not gone down with the former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar who went on to slam Sarfaraz Ahmed’s captaincy. England now leads the series by 2-0. ENG beat PAK by 6 wickets.
An angry Shoaib Akhtar took to Twitter to vent out his anger. His tweet read, “Another big total wasted. A lot to think when you cannot defend 358. As a captain, @SarfarazA_54 needs to step up and make solid decisions.” After winning the toss, England chose to bowl. Pakistan’s Imam-Ul-Haq scored 151 runs. Asif Ali chipped in with 52 runs and Haris Sohail made 41 runs from 41 balls.
