Team Pakistan lost to Australia today by 41 runs at the Taunton Cricket Ground. Post the defeat, Shoaib Akhtar raised concerns about Imam-Ul-Haq’s batting. Imam made scored a half-century from 75 balls which were quite slow as Pakistan chased the total of 307 runs on the board. The difference between the runs and the balls did not go down well with the former pacer and he took to Twitter to express his concerns over the same. Imam-Ul-Haq went to score the highest runs for the team. Mohammad Hafeez scored 46, Wahab Riaz made 45 runs. Sarfaraz Ahmed the skipper of the team made 40 runs on the board. AUS beat PAK by 41 runs.

Talking about the Australian innings, David Warner and Aaron Finch gave a watchful start to the team and then converted the same into a 146 runs long partnership. Warner went on to score his third consecutive World cup 2019 century. Titbits from others helped the team reach a total of 307 runs.
