Shoaib Akhtar has indulged into a war of words with Afghanistan Cricket Board for a few days now. It all started when the interim CEO of Afghanistan Cricket Board, Asadullah Khan said that their cricket is better than Pakistan and the PCB needs to learn something from them. This did not go down well with Shoaib Akhtar who took to social media and gave a befitting reply. Now, ahead of Pakistan’s CWC 2019 match against Afghanistan, Shoaib Akhtar came up with a controversial video where he took a jibe not only at Asadullah Khan but also India. Shoaib Akhtar Gives a Befitting Reply to CEO of Afghanistan Cricket Board Who Said, ‘We are Currently Better than Pakistan’.
He starts off the video by saying that despite the fact that Afghanistan plays in India (Dehradun), the Indians could not bring maturity in their batting. He also said that if you check the original ID cards of the Afghani players they would either belong to Peshawar or Karachi. “You will have to bear will me but I will say something controversial. If you ask the Afghan players to show their original ID cards, they all will be from Peshawar and for this reason, their entire team can get a ban as well from the ICC."

He also went on to take a dig at the Asadullah Khan once again and said that he should avoid making such statements as Pakistan still owns them. “We love the people of Afghanistan, we love peace and wanted to help you out. We gave refuge to 3 million Afghanis during the time, we still love you and we are still owning you. But tomorrow there will be no love when Pakistan will take on you guys,” he further said in the controversial preview video.
