The Pulwama attack which happened a couple of days ago in Kashmir took away the lives of more than 45 CRPF men. Many cricketers including Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag and many others came forward to help the families of the martyrs. Shikhar Dhawan has now vowed to help the families of the martyrs via a post on social media. The Indian opener took to social media and posted a video of himself wherein he is seen asking the people to help the families of the martyrs. The sporting fraternity has come forward to help the families of the martyrs. The winners of the Irani Cup 2019 team Vidarhbh who went on to beat the Rest of India team also displayed a noble gesture by donating their cash prizes to the families of martyrs. The terror outfit of Jaish –E- Mohammed targeted the convoy vehicle that carried soldiers from the transit camp. A vehicle which had 100 kg explosives went on to ram the army bus.

In order to condemn the attack, the CCI and the Rajasthan Cricket Association has removed all the poster of Imran Khan and other Pakistani players from the stadium. The IMG Reliance and DSports have also withdrawn from the Pakistan Super League 2019. Meanwhile, Sania Mirza who was in the eye of the storm for not condemning the attack took to social media and lashed out at the trolls for attacking her.
