Here’s to being positive and happy in every situation that life throws at you. Will be back in action in 4-5 days," said the Indian limited-overs opening batsman in a series of pictures on social media.
Dhawan's teammate Hardik Pandya, however, had something else to say and asked the 33-year-old if he had gone for injury check-up or was helping the entire hospital recover. “Haha Jatta pura hospital theek kar raha tha? (Were you helping the whole hospital recover?)," said Pandya, who is currently out of action.
Meanwhile, Pandya, who is yet to completely recover from the back surgery he had undergone last month, was left out of India's squad for the limited-overs series against West Indies. Dhawan, however, was named in both the ODI and T20I series squads, which starts December 6, 2019.
