India lost to Australia by four wickets yesterday at the Punjab Cricket Association in Mohali despite putting up a total of 358 runs on the board. Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma played a crucial role in putting up the score as they were all blazing guns. Dhawan made 143 runs and Sharma scored 95 runs. However, the visitors had lost a couple of early wickets but then Usman Khawaja and Peter Handscomb were extremely good with the bat and played an important role in Australia’s victory by scoring 91 and 117 runs respectively. Ashton Turner also joined the party and took the team to the finishing line. Turner scored a match-winning knock of 84 runs from 43 balls. Team India Creates an Unwanted Record After Losing to Australia in 4th ODI 2019 in Mohali.

Now after the match, Shikhar Dhawan addressed the press and while praising the Aussie batsman, it looked like the Indian opener forgot his name. Instead of taking his name, Dhawan addressed Turner as he. “He's a new player but we knew that - he already (played). Of course, 'that guy' played a really good knock and took the game away from us," Dhawan told the media in Mohali. "But if there wasn't any dew it wouldn't be possible to play those shots. Because of the dew those things just got away from us. Credit goes to him that he played a great knock,” he further said. This surely did not go down well with Cricket Australia.

The official handle of the team posted a tweet where they said that Shikhar might have forgotten Turner’s name but India opener Shikhar Dhawan is unlikely to forget Ashton Turner again.
