Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina Post Heart Warming Messages for Their Sisters on Raksha Bandhan 2019

Many Indian cricketers wished the nation on Independence Day while few others also posted some heart-warming messages for their sisters. Indian cricketers Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina were among those who posted a special message for their sisters on Raksha Bandhan 2019.

The festival of Raksha Bandhan has clashed with the Independence Day this year and whole India is celebrating these two occasions together. Many Indian cricketers wished the nation on Independence Day while few others also posted some heart-warming messages for their sisters. Firstly, Dhawan posted a photo with her sister Shrestha on Instagram and wished her on Raksha Bandhan "Kisike zakhmon par chahat se pathi kaun bandhega..Agar behne nahi hongi toh rakhi kaun bandega," The Indian opener, who is on West Indies tour at present wrote along with the photo. Lt. Suresh Raina also posted a sweet message for his sister on Instagram. In the post, Raina's sister was seen tieing Rakhi to him. "My lovely sister, I promise to protect you from all evil, keep you happy & be your pillar of strength today, tomorrow and always. Sending best wishes & lots of love to everyone celebrating. Raina is also currently undergoing treatment after successful knee surgery. Raina was last seen playing for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2019. Moreover, India’s new team member Deepak Chahar shared a video of Rakhi celebration with his sister Malati. “Happy Raksha Bandhan to all brothers and sisters. I wish I was a girl”, Chahar wrote along with the video. Have a look.

Earlier in the day, many Indian cricketers also wished the nation on Independence Day 2019.
