Shikhar Dhawan and Ishant Sharma HIT BACK at Shahid Afridi

Shahid Afridi has been in the eye of the storm ever since he has tweeted about the violence in Kashmir after the Indian army killed a few militants in the valley.

Shahid Afridi has been in the eye of the storm ever since he has tweeted about the violence in Kashmir after the Indian army killed a few militants in the valley. Afridi had asked UN to intervene and take action against the Indians. Gautam Gambhir was the first one to slam Afridi. Post which, many cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Mohammed Kaif and Kapil Dev have reacted to the tweet and have slammed the Pakistani cricketer.

Now the latest to join the bandwagon are Shikhar Dhawan and Ishant Sharma. Shikhar Dhawan who is currently in Hyderabad for the upcoming season of IPL 2018, took to Twitter and asked him to improve the conditions of his own country. He wrote, “Pehle khudke desh ki haalat sudharo. Apni soch apne paas rakho. Apne desh ka joh hum kar rahe hai woh acha hi hai aur aage jo karna hai woh humein ache se pata hai. Zyaada dimaag mat lagao @SAfridiOfficial.”

Pacer Ishant Sharma also slammed Afridi and wrote that Kashmir is and will always be an integral part of India. He wrote, “As an Indian, I feel offended to see such baseless remarks! Kashmir is, was and...will always be an integral part of India.”

Renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar also expressed the same sentiments. "Dear Mr. Afridi, since you want to see a peaceful JK sans any human rights violations could you please see to it that Pak terrorists stop infiltrations n Pak army stops supporting the separatists by closing down the training camps. It will greatly help in solving the problem," wrote the veteran artist.
