Mumbai, May 27: The swashbuckling Australian Shane Watson who is donning the Chennai Super Kings yellow in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League, 2018 has scored a scintillating century against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL final despite a slow start.

The Chennai Super Kings opener scored the second hundred of this IPL season. The splendid knock included 8 sixes and seven fours. He completely destroyed the famed Hyderabad attack and took the bowlers to the cleaners.

The century came merely of 51 balls and took the match away from the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The innings has also helped CSK get in touching distance of the title victory. There were questions raised about CSK's selection policy after they had opted for a number experienced players on the wrong side of age. But Shane Watson today proved that age is just a number and on his day he can take the game away from the opposition.
