Shahid Afridi is currently busy playing and captaining Paktia Panthers for Afghanistan Premier League 2018. Now, the team was playing against Nangarhar Leopards at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium in Sharjah a couple of days ago and excitement got into the Afridi’s nerves while he was bowling to New Zealand’s Anton Devcich in the seventh over of the match. The former captain of Pakistan got the wicket of Devcich and lost his cool. Afridi thus had a very ugly send off for the batsman.

Afridi bowled short of length and Devcich attempted to play a cut short on the back foot and thus dismantled the bails. No sooner the ball ripped the bails, Afridi showed the finger in such a way to Devcich as if he was asking the batsman to return to the dressing room. The video of the same got viral and soon was trending. Hazratullah Zazai Pulls off a Yuvraj Singh, Hits Six Sixes in an Over for Kabul During Afghanistan Premier League 2018 Match (Watch Video)

Pakhtia Panthers won the game comprehensively by seven wickets. However, Afridi has not in the best of form for the APL 2018. In the previous match,  he got out on a duck in the second ball itself against Kandahar Knights at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The former Pakistani cricketer was then mocked by Afghanistan skipper Asghar Afghan.  Talking about the APL 2018, the Balk Legends lead the table with 10 points. Whereas the Paktia Panthers is on number two with 8 points, Kabul Zwanan is on number 3 with 6 points. Whereas Nangarhar Leopard and Kandahar Knights are on fourth and fifth position respectively.
