Imran Tahir's five-wicket haul helped South Africa to a 34 run victory. Debutant Rassie van der Dussen scored a half-century to put a competitive score of 160 on the board. Captain Du Plessis and David Miller also chipped in with some useful runs.
The Zimbabwe batting once again faltered after their bowlers had done a good job. They lost wickets in quick succession and could only score a paltry 126. Apart from Peter Moor and Brandon Mavuta, none of their batsmen could score some decent runs. They have to win this match to stay alive in the series.

South Africa have sealed the series with a match to go. They have chased down the paltry target quite easily in the end. However, it was not how easy how it reads on the scorecard. They were rocked early as Dussen departed cheaply. De Kock then started finding the middle of the bat but perished after getting a start. Du Plessis too departed soon and at that time Zimbabwe must have felt they were in the game.
