Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh Highlights And Cricket Score 3rd Match - ODI Summary

End of Over : 42.1 BAN: 288/3

We are done with the ODI series. It is Bangladesh who have won it 3-0 and Zimbabwe have now lost 13 matches on the trot. Both the teams now will turn their attention on the longest format which will begin on the 3rd of November. The first Test will be played in Sylhet at 0930 local (0330 GMT). Till then take care and goodbye!

Imrul Kayes is the unanimous choice for the Man of the Series award. He is glad to get a chance to prove himself. Adds further he wanted to do something for the team and is happy with how he has played. Credits the way Sarkar batted and says he released all the pressure. Hopes to do well in the Test series as well.

Man of the Match, Soumya Sarkar says he is very pleased with his performance as he was out of the team before this game. Ends by saying the wicket was really good to bat on and he enjoyed batting out there.

Zimbabwe's skipper, Hamilton Masakadza says the defeat today was tough as they batted well. Mentions Kayes and Sarkar batted really well and they took the game away from them. He feels the batters will head into the Test format with some confidence and hopes that the players added to the squad will bring some luck.

Earlier in the day, it was a strong batting performance from Zimbabwe. Powered by Sean Williams' century and his partnerships with Taylor, Raza and Moor, they managed to post a challenging total on the board. However, their bowlers failed to turn up and they suffered yet another massive loss.

The pair of Kayes and Sarkar went after the bowlers right from the outset and both notched up their centuries. Sarkar, in particular, was in blazing form, amassing 6 maximums in his knock of 117 as he took the Zimbabwean bowlers to the cleaners. Kayes was initially the aggressor but once Sarkar got going, the former was happy to play second fiddle. The duo, however, could not stay there till the end as one perished shortly after getting to his ton and the other got dismissed with just 13 needed for a win. However, Rahim and Mithun ensured they did not lose any more wickets and finished the game off with ease.

BANGLADESH INFLICT A CLEAN SWEEP! A mockery, that is exactly what Bangladesh have made of this run chase. This is the highest run chase on this ground and they have done it without breaking a sweat. At the start though, they lost their first wicket on the very first ball of the chase, but then Soumya Sarkar and Imrul Kayes joined forces and smashed a record partnership of 220 runs.
