So, that is the end of the ODI series. As expected India have won it 3-1. A lot of people would have expected a clean sweep but it was not to be. However, cricketing action between the two will continue as they now play a T20I series. The first game will take place in Kolkata on the 4th of November at 1900 local (1330 GMT). Till then, take care and goodbye!

Man of the Series and Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, says they were clinical and they were able to finish the game in few hours. Admits he was surprised the Windies chose to bat. Credits the bowlers for the way they bowled. Reckons the last two games have been excellent and he is happy with how the team has performed. He now feels they are back on track and want to build on this. Appreciates Khaleel and Rayudu for the way they have played. States he looks to help the team as much as possible with the bat and he always tries to lead from the front. Ends by saying awards is not something he plays for but it always feels good to receive one.

Man of the Match, Ravindra Jadeja, says he is enjoying his game at the moment. Mentions he tries to give his best in every game and wants to grab every opportunity which comes to him. Ends by saying his teammates were not sure about the review on Hetmyer's wicket, but he was sure it was out.

Windies skipper, Jason Holder, says it was not the finish they were looking for and admits they lacked consistency. Adds further it was not going to be easy against India in India. Mentions he did not think the pitch would play that slow but there were also some poor shots by their batsmen. States the youngsters did really well, especially Hetmyer and Hope. Ends by saying, they need a little more application which would help them do well going further.

Sanjay Manjrekar is now interviewing Ravi Shastri. He starts by saying, India are back on track. Admits they were below par in the ODIs before and that was the wake up call they needed. Mentions the Windies team is a promising side and they will grow with time. States Rayudu has done well in that number four position and it has not been easy for him as he is making a come back. Ends by saying, Khaleel Ahmed has got the skill and a left-arm bowler is always handy.

Kuldeep Yadav who is also giving an interview, says there was a lot of turn on this wicket. Adds further it is not easy to control the ball on such wickets. Mentions you have to consistently hit the right lengths. States the first game was one performance he loved as it was not easy bowling conditions there.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar who is up for an interview says the series was a good experience and after resting the first two ODIs, he prepared himslef well. Mentions he wanted to polish his skills in this series. Reckons they are doing well in every department and he is looking forward to the tours of New Zealand and Australia.

The duo did have luck on their side with Virat being dropped of Thomas' bowling, who impressed and was the only wicket taker. He could have also got Rohit Sharma had he not overstepped. However, the two put that behind and once they were set, they started playing their shots. Rohit Sharma especially, he started off slowly but once he got his eye in, he tonked the ball everywhere to give India the win and the series.

India have taken the series 3-1 after another clinical performance. To be honest, their bowlers set it up for them with Jadeja leading the pack as he finished with a four-fer. He was well-supported by the rest, as all of the bowlers picked at least a wicket. They bowled Windies out for a small total and a mockery was made of the chase. Dhawan did get out early but Rohit and Kohli ensured no more wickets fell.

14.5 1

Devendra Bishoo to Rohit Sharma. That is it. Rohit Sharma finishes it off in style. It is tossed up on middle, Rohit sweeps it through mid-wicket and the ball races away. It crosses the boundary but because the batsmen cross before the ball meets the ropes, they get just the single, which is enough. INDIA WIN BY 9 WICKETS AND TAKE THE SERIES 3-1!

Summary

After a thumping 224 run victory in the fourth ODI against West Indies, India cricket team is riding high on confidence. They will look to seal the series with a victory in the fifth and last ODI of the series. West Indies, on the other hand, will look to get back and draw the series level.

Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu's centuries powered India to a commanding total of 377/5 in the last match on a batting friendly track. Any hopes of West Indies comeback in reply were quickly dashed as young left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed's fiery spell at the start restricted half of their side. Kuldeep Yadav then ran through their lower order to complete an emphatic victory.
