West Indies vs India Highlights And Cricket Score 5th Match - ODI Commentary

End of Over : 31.5 WI: 104/10

So, how many overs will India take to overhaul this minuscule target? They have around 70 minutes before they go in for the break. Can they do it within that period? We will have to wait to find out.

Not a lot can be written about the Windies batting. 25 was the highest score for them in this innings. That sums up their performance with the bat. They never got used to the pace of the wicket and have been bowled out for a very low total.

Excellent bowling performance and a dismal batting display. This innings was a combination of both. Right from the word go, the Indian bowlers were on the money. Kumar and Bumrah struck early. Samuels and Hetmyer then did try to build a partnership but Jadeja broke through. He finished with a 4-fer and was the pick of the bowlers. Khaleel Ahmed also picked two and Kuldeep also had one to his name. On top of that, every bowler, bowled a maiden over, not something you see often in modern day cricket. All-in-all a performance the Indians will be very happy with.

Three-fer for Jadeja and Windies are 9 down.

1.4 W

Jasprit Bumrah to Shai Hope. OUT! TIMBER! India have two in the opening two overs. Both the new ball bowlers have struck and this is probably the wicket India would have wanted desperately. The man in form, Shai Hope, walks back without troubling the scorers. What a peach to get him. Just ahead of a driving length and it comes back in very late and a long way. Powell walks back for a duck and once again Windies are dealt a blow early on. Brilliantly set up that one, after a few inswingers he bowls the away swinger. Lands it on a length around off, Powell goes for the drive away from his body. He also tries to hit it on the up but it is not on a driving length. Adds further that Nurse has been ruled out for the whole tour due to an injury and he hopes he recovers as soon as possible. Admits they need to be more consistent. Ends by saying they have shown glimpses of what they can produce in this tour.

Toss - Up goes the coin and it lands in the favor of the Windies. They will bat first.

The Greenfield stadium is all set to host it's first ODI match. This will be the 47th stadium in India to host one. A lot is at stake here. For India they have a chance to seal the series. They have momentum on their side and they would look to carry forward it in this game. Windies on the other hand, will be eager to win here. A victory will see them level the series. It though will be interesting to see if they have recovered from the battering they got in the last game. Who will come out on top? Stay tuned to find out. Welcome to the coverage.

End of Over : 14.5 IND: 105/1

So, that is the end of the ODI series. As expected India have won it 3-1. A lot of people would have expected a clean sweep but it was not to be. However, cricketing action between the two will continue as they now play a T20I series. The first game will take place in Kolkata on the 4th of November at 1900 local (1330 GMT). Till then, take care and goodbye!

Mentions he wanted to polish his skills in this series. Reckons they are doing well in every department and he is looking forward to the tours of New Zealand and Australia.

The duo did have luck on their side with Virat being dropped of Thomas' bowling, who impressed and was the only wicket taker. He could have also got Rohit Sharma had he not overstepped. However, the two put that behind and once they were set, they started playing their shots. Rohit Sharma especially, he started off slowly but once he got his eye in, he tonked the ball everywhere to give India the win and the series.

India have taken the series 3-1 after another clinical performance. To be honest, their bowlers set it up for them with Jadeja leading the pack as he finished with a four-fer. He was well-supported by the rest, as all of the bowlers picked at least a wicket. They bowled Windies out for a small total and a mockery was made of the chase. Dhawan did get out early but Rohit and Kohli ensured no more wickets fell.
