So, that is it from this game and this tournament! Bangladesh are seen posing with the trophy and this will be a massive confidence boost for them heading into the World Cup. For now though, you can switch tabs and catch all the action from the ODI between Pakistan and England which is turning out to be a good one. Goodbye and take care!

States the wicket was very good to bat on and Sarkar and Tamim made use of it. Further adds they laid the foundation and Mosaddek and Mahmudullah did the job at the end. Reckons the World Cup will be more challenging and they are looking forward to it. Ends by saying he has enjoyed his time in Ireland and the win makes it even more sweet.

West Indies skipper, Jason Holder, says the openers got off to a really good start. Mentions the fielding and dropped chances did not help them. States they have time before they prepare for the warm up games of the World Cup and there will also be more guys joining the side.

Shai Hope is the Man of the Series for his excellent run with the bat in this tournament.

Man of the Match is Mosaddek Hossain for his electrifying and match-winning knock!

Earlier in the day, after being inserted, the West Indies openers got them off to a rocketing start before rain played spoil sport. When all the hopes of a game were vanishing, the rain gods answered the prayer and after a long wait we had a 24-over-per-side match. However, after the break, the West Indies batsmen did not score that freely in the last 4 overs and that is probably what cost them the game.

This was probably the first time in this tournament the Bangladesh batters were put under a real test. They were chasing a challenging total on a wicket which was a good one to bat on. Their openers provided them with the ideal start and at that moment, it seemed like Bangladesh would once again cruise through. However, the West Indies bowlers fought back as Gabriel picked two in quick succession. Sarkar though continued as he and Rahim formed another decent stand. However, once Sarkar fell after getting to a half ton, the scoring rate then got slow. Also, wickets at regular intervals saw the game evenly balance at the end of the 16th over. Bangladesh needed 39 in the last four but a it was Hossain who rose to the occasion and smashed a brilliant 50 to take them over the line easily in the end.

WHAT A FINAL THIS WAS! What did we not have here? Rain, wickets, fours and sixes! Surely a game worthy of a final. In the end, it is the team which has been the best throughout which has come out on top. Bangladesh it is and a lot of credit has to be given to Mosaddek Hossain whose superb knock has taken them over the line.
