Zimbabwe vs Pakistan Highlights And Cricket Score 3rd Match - ODI Commentary
Let us have a look at the records then. 67 - this is the lowest total in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's lowest against Pakistan, the second lowest by any team against Pakistan and Zimbabwe's joint 5th lowest in ODIs overall. Ouch. Pakistan are in line to register their 5th 10-wicket win, second against Zimbabwe in ODIs. Will it happen? The second innings is about to resume...
Terrific bowling from Pakistan but to be honest, there was nothing in the pitch. Neither was there prolific swing, nor any prolonged seam movement or that much turn on offer. Zimbabwe, well, looked like they had come to work on a weekend, were scheduled a compensatory off today but were forced to come and well, were upset. Faheem was superb, with his 5-fer, hitting the deck and keeping the lines straight, while the others were decent as well.
Well, it was a you-blink-and-you-miss kind of an innings. What to type? Only three batsmen managed to reach double figures. They had no answer to the pace of Faheem, Junaid or Usman, or the spin of Yasir. A sorry, sorry performance from Zimbabwe who simply seem to be going down with every game.
Faheem Ashraf to Richard Ngarava. OUT! Corker of a yorker and the off stump is off the ground. Faheem has his 5th. Gets down and kisses the turf. Ngarava can barely get his bat down in time and well, Zimbabwe have just managed to scrape past the half-way mark. ALL OUT FOR 67!
Shadab Khan to Richard Ngarava. Now they run! Full and outside off, driven towards mid off and well, the batsmen run. Don't know why.
Shadab Khan to Richard Ngarava. On middle and leg, flicked towards deep mid-wicket. A single is called for but they do not run!
Richard Ngarava is the last man in.
Shadab Khan to Blessing Muzarabani. OUT! Given. That looked to be missing leg but Muzarabani has been given the marching orders. The googly, pitched around middle, Blessing looked to defend but missed. Seemed to be hit around the leg stump, with the ball sliding down, but well... no reviews in this country.
Shadab Khan to Blessing Muzarabani. FOUR! Two targets achieved. First, Muzarabani gets off the mark. Second, Zimbabwe get past the lowest total posted by any opponent in ODIs against Pakistan, surpassing New Zealand's 64 in 1986 in Sharjah. Down the leg side, Muzarabani looks to flick but the ball goes off the inner half of the bat and past the keeper to the fine leg fence! The next target - 74 by New Zealand, in Sharjah, 1990.
Shadab Khan to Wellington Masakadza. A low full toss around off, pushed towards long on for a single.

End of the innings for Zimbabwe. Oh sorry... I thought it was a T20I. Been woken up from my slumber. The so-called ODI resumes. Zimbabwe have completed one target - getting their 50. A bit of a check on Muzarabani. He shows a thumbs up, indicating he is fine. Just a look at his helmet and everyone is ready.
Faheem Ashraf to Blessing Muzarabani. ON THE HELMET! He is not a short guy by any means but Faheem still pings him on the grille. TEAM CHANGES - Plenty for the home side. 4 to be precise. Prince Masvaure (when did he get added to the squad?), Elton Chigumbura, Tendai Chisoro and Richard Ngarava get a chance to play today. Let me check who all miss out. Brian Chari is the first, then Donald Tiripano, Liam Roche and finally Tendai Chatara! Yes, first rank in byhearting!!! Pakistan have easier changes to remember - Yasir Shah gets a chance today. The last time he played an ODI was against England in Nottingham on August 30, 2016. Junaid Khan makes a comeback too, after featuring last against Sri Lanka in an ODI in Sharjah on 20th October, 2017.
TOSS TIME - Zimbabwe win another toss. Again, they elect to bat first. Can they put up a decent total today?
WEATHER - It is another cold morning in Bulawayo and conditions certainly will not be helpful to the fielding side.
Another day, another game. How it came? That is all Zimbabwe have been thinking from the time they have started playing the tri-series. Did not win a single match against Australia or Pakistan and have not won any here. They have lost the first set if you consider it as a tennis game - 6-0, you see. Hello and a warm welcome - oops, COLD welcome to the third ODI between Zimbabwe and Pakistan in Bulawayo. A must-win game for Zimbabwe not only as far as the series is concerned - but for their own growth and future.
We didn't expect that it will be such an easy walk in the park for Pakistan but Zimbabwe are so much morally deflated due to their poor form that this was on the cards. The series is already gone for the home side but there is something called as pride. To uphold that, they will need to play out of their skins against a team which is in its elements. Join us for the 4th ODI in Bulawayo at 0915 Local (0715 GMT) to catch all the action. Till then, cheers!
Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed says that he is very pleased about the performance. Appreciates Junaid Khan and Faheem Ashraf for the way they bowled. States that Ashraf was on the money and his batting is a plus for the side as well. Mentions that he will try different combinations and give other players a chance in the remaining two games.
The Man of the Match has been awarded to Faheem Ashraf for his maiden 5-fer in ODIs. He was belligerent with the ball, breaking the backbone of the hosts.
Zimbabwe skipper, Hamilton Masakadza says that it was a forgettable game for them. Mentions that they would try to rectify their mistakes and improve themselves. States that more application is needed by the batsmen. Ends by saying that he hopes that his boys will fire in the next game and give their bowlers something to play for.
However, Fakhar Zaman was his free-flowing self once he got his eye in and played some pleasing strokes to take the tourists home along with Babar Azam with utmost ease. Kudos to the Pakistan bowlers for setting it up with a belligerent performance. Nothing much to write about the hosts. They didn't build any partnerships and were found wanting.
It has been a crushing victory for Pakistan, their biggest ever win in terms of balls remaining. With that, they have sealed the 5-match ODI series here itself. After bowling out Zimbabwe for their lowest total in Bulawayo, 67 to be precise, it was always going to be a formality for the visitors to chase it down. Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava were on the money initially with the former sending Imam-ul-Haq back on the first ball.
Richard Ngarava to Fakhar Zaman. FOUR! And that's the game! Fakhar Zaman finishes things off with a superb boundary. Flicks the ball firmly through the mid-wicket region to send it across the fence for a boundary. A crushing victory, PAKISTAN WIN BY 9 WICKETS, WITH 241 BALLS TO SPARE!

Blessing Muzarabani to Fakhar Zaman. FOUR! Consecutive boundaries for Zaman! Has room offered to him outside off, he stands tall and goes up and over point. Third man tried cutting it off but failed in his attempt to do so.
Blessing Muzarabani to Fakhar Zaman. FOUR! A little bit of width and that's all Zaman needs to put it away. On a length, outside off, the left-hander smashes it through the gap in the covers, leaving the fielders with no chance to stop it.
Richard Ngarava to Babar Azam. Short and wide, it's smacked right off the middle, but straight to the cover fielder.
Richard Ngarava to Babar Azam. Wide! Back of a length down the leg side, wide signalled. Which is a bit strange given there was some noise as the ball went past Babar on his attempted flick shot. Not sure what happened there.

Richard Ngarava to Babar Azam. Back of a length on middle, tamely pulled along the ground in front of square leg.
