Pakistan vs Australia Highlights And Cricket Score 1st Match - T20I Commentary
Well, 156 is still a good target to defend but the Aussies will feel they can get them. There is visible dew on the outfield and that might go against the bowlers. Stay tuned for Australia's reply...
Stanlake and Tye then struck 4 times in 2 overs and that just pegged the 'hosts' back. Babar Azam, though, stayed unbeaten on 68. How crucial will that knock be? Earlier, Pakistan were 105/2 in the 14th over but then well, they just played like Pakistan.
41/5 in the final 5 overs - but 17 came in the last. It was a poor final over from Nathan Coulter-Nile but if truth be told, Pakistan have imploded here. They were looking good for a score around 180 but Hafeez' wicket simply changed the momentum.
Nathan Coulter-Nile to Hasan Ali. A good yorker, hit back down the ground for one. 17 from the final over as Pakistan finish on 155/8!

Nathan Coulter-Nile to Hasan Ali. DROPPED, FOUR! Loose from Australia. First, a full toss from the bowler. Hasan smokes it over his head, but provides a catching opportunity to the fielder at long on. Short races to his left, but his one eye is on the ropes. he puts in a casual attempt for the catch but does not even get close to the ball. IT bursts through his palms and bounces just in front of the ropes.

Andrew Tye to Hasan Ali. NOT OUT. Nothing on the Snickometer. They check for the LBW as well, but the impact was umpore's call while the ball was missing leg. Australia lose their review. Full and down the leg side, Hasan walks across and looks to flick but misses. There is a noise as the ball goes past the bat and Alex Carey, immediately appeals after catching it. However, Andrew Tye turns his back on him. Aaron Finch though, is interested in that appeal and backs his keeper and goes for the review. Snickometer shows a tiny spike when the ball kisses the pad while it never looked LBW in the first place. Superb call from the umpire.
IS THAT A WICKET TOO? Alex Carey reckons he has Hasan Ali caught behind. Aaron Finch takes the review...

TOSS - Time for the spin of the coin. Aaron Finch has called it correctly and AUSTRALIA OPT TO CHASE.
Windies stretching India in Visakhapatnam while Bangladesh toying with Zimbabwe at Chhotagram. Let our planes take a turn and go to Abu Dhabi! After a 2-match Test series which ended, not surprisingly, in favour of Pakistan, we now turn to the format in which they are number 1. Australia are missing a few seniors but as they showed in Zimbabwe, they have plenty to fight for. Hello and a warm welcome to the first of 3 T20Is between Pakistan and Australia.
So! The 100-ball tournament is being talked about in England but Australia tonight advertised it. If truth be told, the match was done and dusted in the Powerplay itself when they were reduced to 26/6. How will the second T20I pan out? Will Pakistan crush their opponents there as well? Join us on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 8 pm local (1600 GMT). ADIOS! TAKE CARE!
Victorious Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed, says that the strength of the Pakistan team is that the bowling is so strong that they can defend if they get some sort of a total on board. On the promotion of Asif Ali and Husan Talat with the bat, Sarfraz admits that the plan was to keep coming in hard at Australia but although that did not work out, praises Babar and Hafeez for doing well. Is full of adjectives for his bowling unit and also says that Hasan Ali's cameo was the turning point in the game. On being asked whether he would open with Hasan in the second game, Ahmed smiles and says that one never knows, the way Ali is hitting the ball these days, if he is let loose along with Fakhar Zaman, anything can happen.
A dejected Australian captain, Aaron Finch, admits that it was an embarrassing batting display. Praises Pakistan for bowling very well and also agrees that his team just batted one-dimensionally - trying to to hit every ball out of the park - could have probably taken some time. But quickly adds that the unit will do better in the next game as they were rusty tonight. Praises his bowlers for bowling well tonight but feels the fielding was pretty ordinary. On Pakistan's bowling, he is full of praises for the talent that they have and challenges his batsmen to come back firing in Dubai.
IMAD WASIM HAS BEEN NAMED THE MAN OF THE MATCH for his brilliant bowling spell. Praises the almighty for helping him come back well after injury. On being asked what did he do in hibernation, Imad says that he just played a few domestic matches. On his plan against the Aussies, he says that he just planned on keeping it straight and was lucky that he did not get hit for runs. Stresses that one gets confidence by playing more, so hopes he continues to play more.
It was a top class bowling performance by the numero uno T20I team. Imad Wasim set the tone with a 3-fer and then the other bowlers capitalized. They didn't allow the team from Down Under to recover after initial blows and kept pegging them back by picking regular wickets. Earlier in the evening, a good batting performance by Babar Azam and his partnership of 73 runs with Mohammad Hafeez powered Pakistan to 155/8. However, they lost their way towards the end, it didn't cost them much. Time for the presentation...
All over in the blink of an eye! A commanding performance by Pakistan as they have completely decimated the Aussies. It all started in the first over itself when Imad Wasim removed both the openers.
