Rajasthan Royals (RR) host Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the match number six of Indian Premier League 2018 (IPL 2018). Royals returned to IPL following a two-year ban, but suffered a defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their opening match. The Rajasthan-based franchise now hosts Delhi in their first home match of the season and the team will be hoping to open their winning account in the IPL 2018. Interestingly, Delhi Daredevils also come into the match having lost the first match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).
Rajasthan Royals suffered a nine-wicket defeat against SRH after being restricted to a paltry score of 125 runs. SRH chased the target easily with Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson scoring 77 and 36 respectively.
Delhi Daredevils, on the other hand, were defeated by six wickets by KXIP. Daredevils posted 166 in their allotted 20 overs and then failed to defend the total. They were undone by KL Rahul, who registered the fastest fifty in the IPL history.
Meanwhile, both the sides will be looking to register their first win of the season. Royals enjoy dominance over Daredevils. Both the side have played 16 matches between them and Rajasthan have won 10. In Jaipur, Royals have won three out of four matches.

Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Daredevils Highlights And Cricket Score 6th Match - T20 Summary
So that's it from this rainy encounter. Even though it's late, the crowd goes back with a smile on its face as it got to witness some cricketing action. Rajasthan bag their first win of the competition. Delhi lost another one, but they wouldn't be beating themselves up too much over this. Was a difficult task with the rain interfering. Well, done with this, but there's more action tomorrow as Hyderabad welcome Mumbai at 2000 IST. Do tune in for that. Cheers!
Sanju Samson is declared as the Man of the Match. His attacking knock in the first innings set the tone for his side's middle order to come and take advantage of, eventually resulting in posting a total which proved to be a winner.
Earlier in the day, a good anchoring knock from skipper Ajinkya Rahane, followed by some explosive hitting from Sanju Samson, Rahul Tripathi and Jos Buttler got Rajasthan to a total, which after the DLS method, proved too much for the travelling side.
A rain-hit affair which went on late into the night, but one which Rajasthan eventually managed to clinch. With a revised target of 71 to hunt down in 6 overs, Delhi had to get off to a blazing start. Pant provided that, but wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Too many dot balls were bowled too and as a result, the pressure kept building, the scoring rate kept rising and the task was too much. They succumbed to the occasion and the away team couldn't get over the line, despite all the power-hitters in the ranks.
Ben Laughlin to Chris Morris. SIX! Maximum to finish the innings but that's not enough. RAJASTHAN WIN BY 10 RUNS (DLS Method)! Full ball on the stumps, Morris lifts it over mid on for a biggie.
Ben Laughlin to Chris Morris. FOUR! Fuller outside off, Morris lofts it over covers for a boundary.
Ben Laughlin to Vijay Shankar. OUT! Another catch taken! Length ball on off, Shankar lofts it, with no timing at all. It's going towards mid on, where Ben Stokes takes a good catch.
Ben Laughlin to Vijay Shankar. Lofts this full ball over the covers and takes a couple.
Ben Laughlin to Chris Morris. There's a change-up from Laughlin. Excellent delivery. Bangs it short, takes Chris Morris by surprise. The Protea is in no position to play the pull shot. Still goes through with it, takes a blow on the helmet and steals a leg bye after that as the ball goes on the leg side.
Ben Laughlin to Vijay Shankar. Very full and fast from Laughlin, Shankar drags it off the inner half through mid-wicket for a single.
Jaydev Unadkat to Rishabh Pant. OUT! A good catch from Gowtham! Very good catch. Third wicket down in the form of Rishabh Pant. Fuller ball on leg, slightly slower in pace. Pant gets underneath it and swings. A lot of height, not much distance, and Gowtham comes running in from fine leg to take a fine catch diving forward.
Jaydev Unadkat to Rishabh Pant. Fired wide down leg, Pant tries to be cheeky with a reverse sweep. Doesn't connect, takes one on the pads and it's a dot ball. Skipper Gautam Gambhir doesn't seem too impressed with that choice of shot.
Jaydev Unadkat to Rishabh Pant. FOUR! Works with the angle as it's coming into him, Pant swings and gives it all he's got. May not be the best of connections, but it's enough to go across the fence on the bounce.
Jaydev Unadkat to Chris Morris. Wide outside off, carved again, just a single this time though. There's a man out there now. Low full toss outside off, Morris cuts it straight to third man.
Jaydev Unadkat to Chris Morris. FOUR! Full delivery angling wide outside off, Morris walks a step across, uses the angle and carves it across the third man boundary. Smart batting. 30 needed off 10.
Jaydev Unadkat to Rishabh Pant. In the air again but it falls short. Slower one, on a length, cutting back in. Rishabh Pant swings too early and lofts it over mid-wicket. Ben Stokes comes in from the deep but it's too far away from him. A single taken by the batsmen.
