Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals Highlights And Cricket Score 43th Match - T20 Summary

End of Over : 19.5 RR: 177/6

A vital two points for Rajasthan as they go level on points with Mumbai and Kolkata. Plenty of work for them to be still done, but they will relish this win. Chennai may have lost, but their position on the table remains unaffected. Anyway, on the 12th of May, there is a double-header as it's a Saturday and the action begins with Punjab hosting Kolkata at 1600 local (1030 GMT), followed by Delhi vs Bangalore in the capital of the country at 2000 local (1430 GMT). It's going to be a power-packed day, so do join in on all the action. Cheers!

Jos Buttler is obviously and rightly declared as the Man of the Match. He is in prime form at the moment as he scored his fourth consecutive fifty. Tonight, his 95 off 60 deliveries was the pillar of the chase and eventually, the match-winner for his side.

Chennai, in particular MS Dhoni, would be a touch disappointed in the bowling performance to say the least. More so because, after the early blitz from Buttler, they pulled things back well in the middle and got the upper hand. This format in particular is of small margins and if not for those two big maximums in Willey's over, maybe the away side would have been on the other side of the result. Goes to show you need to be disciplined at all times. A night to ponder for the visitors, one to celebrate for the hosts. Earlier in the evening, Chennai posted a total in excess of 175 on the back of a Raina fifty and some late hitting from Dhoni and Billings, but it didn't prove to be enough.

The hosts are not yet done in this tournament and they have Jos Buttler to thank for that. He's almost single-handedly taken his side across the line right at the finish. He started off well, despite Stokes' early loss and kept on going. He made some vital partnerships in the middle and kept the scoreboard ticking despite the wickets falling. Chennai did get back in in the middle overs and would have won as well, had it not been for Krishnappa Gowtham's neat little cameo. Those two blows he scored off David Willey's over proved to be the x-factor as it got his side within firing range, enabling Buttler to finish it off late. Superb knock from the Englishman, he remained unbeaten on 95.

Dwayne Bravo to Jos Buttler. Jos Buttler has done it. Absolute pandemonium in the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Unreal scenes. What a knock. Rajasthan survive to fight another day. Buttler slaps this towards extra cover and takes off. Watson has a needless shy at the bowler's end and misses. There's nobody backing up and seeing this, Buttler calls for the second and gets it. RAJASTHAN WIN BY 4 WICKETS!

19.4 6

Dwayne Bravo to Jos Buttler. SIX! That's a phenomenal strike! Jos Buttler with an absolute blinder of a hit here. It's full, in his slot and he smokes this away. Backs away and clobbers it over mid-wicket for a biggie. 2 in 2 to win now.

19.3 2

Dwayne Bravo to Jos Buttler. That's gone high in the air.... and it's fallen safe! Unreal. Everybody is out in the deep and it's fallen down safely inside the ring. Full and slower on the stumps, Buttler swings and skies it in the mid-wicket area. Nobody can believe how that's not been taken. Bravo actually was going for it but slipped in the process. Two runs taken. 8 from 3 now.

19.2 2

Dwayne Bravo to Jos Buttler. Length ball around off, smacked down to long on for two.

David Willey to Krishnappa Gowtham. OUT! Edged and taken! Gowtham departs, but he just might have done enough for Rajasthan. Back of a length outside off, Krishnappa swings and gets an edge behind which Dhoni takes. 12 off the last over with Buttler on strike. What's going to happen here?

18.5 6

David Willey to Krishnappa Gowtham. SIX! BOOM! This is great striking from Krishnappa Gowtham. Right out of the screws this one. Full and in his slot, Gowtham stands firm and smokes it straight back down the ground for a maximum.

17.6 1

Dwayne Bravo to Jos Buttler. Buttler premeditates the scoop shot but there's no pace on the ball. Dhoni does well to move to his left and get a hand to it with a dive. Single taken. Rajasthan need 28 off 12.

17.5 2

Dwayne Bravo to Jos Buttler. Coming back in leg, tucked in front of square leg for a couple.
