Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals Highlights And Cricket Score 47th Match - T20 Commentary
Archer by far was the best bowler for Rajasthan. He gave away just 16 runs in his four overs and got a couple of important wickets. Lewis at the other end though carried on and registered a fine fifty. He was looking to cut loose but was caught in the deep soon after reaching the landmark and Mumbai had a short little lull period following that. All thanks to Hardik Pandya's breezy knock, the hosts got to 168. He along with Cutting smashed 32 runs in the final two overs and gave some respectability to their score. 169 isn't a big target considering Wankhede is a tough ground to defend and dew too might play a role in the run chase. Join us in a while for Rajasthan's reply.

Hello and a warm welcome to the coverage of match 47 between Mumbai and Rajasthan at the Wankhede Stadium. The hosts are on a roll at the moment, having won their last three games. At one stage, it looked really gloomy for the home side but the way they have bounced back is a testimony to their potential and resilience. However, they need to keep up the momentum as a momentary slip can well be curtains for them. They are functioning like a well-oiled unit and that augurs really well for them. On the other hand, Rajasthan have received a boost with two wins in a row. The promotion of Jos Buttler to the top of the order has worked wonders for them. The visitors need to realize that individual brilliance can win you the odd game but to remain consistent, you need to fire collectively. There will be no shortage of motivation as this is a must-win clash for both the teams. Expect a cracker!
That brings us to the end of a lopsided contest! It is not easy to travel to Mumbai and beat them in their own den. Rajasthan have won three games in a row now and are right on track. On the other hand, the hosts need to win their remaining two games and have to depend on outside factors as well. Tomorrow, Punjab will host Bangalore in their adopted home, Indore. Join us for that. Till then, goodbye and cheers!
Jos Buttler has been awarded the Man of the Match for his scintillating display with the bat. His rich vein of form augurs really well for Rajasthan.
On a hard and true surface, Mumbai were below-par. Their batsmen showed spark in phases but they failed to fire collectively. The bowlers more or less failed to hit their mark as well. Krunal Pandya was good with the ball but didn't find enough support on the day. The cameo from Samson at the fag end was also instrumental in putting a full stop to Mumbai's chances. A disappointing loss for them while the visitors are going from strength-to-strength.
A power-packed display from Rajasthan has led them to a thumping victory. No matter how many adjectives do you use, you won't find an apt term to praise Jos Buttler.
