Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders Highlights And Cricket Score 41th Match - T20 Commentary
Barring Sunil Narine, who was economical, all the Kolkata bowlers suffered. Chawla did an excellent job of picking 3 wickets but his last over went for aplenty, thereby spoiling his bowling figures. For Mumbai, Rohit Sharma was a bit scratchy but luckily for them, Ben Cutting played a handy cameo towards the end to power them over the 200-run mark. It's a monumental task in front of Kolkata now. Can they avoid their 8th straight loss to Mumbai? Do join us in a short while to find out.
From 62/2 in 9 overs to 210/6 in 20 overs! You can calculate the runs and get to know the amount of carnage that the Mumbai batsmen inflicted. Their openers provided a stable beginning but then both fell to Piyush Chawla. Kolkata would have hoped to strangle the visiting side but a certain Ishan Kishan exploded on the scene and hammered the joint-fastest fifty for Mumbai, off only 17 balls. His knock completely pushed Kolkata on the back foot and from there on, they struggled.
Piyush Chawla to Krunal Pandya. SIX! Krunal finishes it off in style! Piyush probably forgot that he is a spinner. Once again fires one in on the shorter side, Krunal remains on the back foot and pumps it over cow corner for a biggie. 22 from the over and Mumbai end of a massive 210/6!
JP Duminy is the new batsman but he will be at the non-striker's end.
Piyush Chawla to Ben Cutting. OUT! But Ben has done his job! Another quicker one outside off, Cutting tries to heave it over mid-wicket but this time it's not backed with enough power. Russell settles near the rope and catches the ball safely. The umpires get it checked upstairs and it's a clean effort by the West Indian. End of a handy cameo by the Australian!
Cutting has been caught at the edge of the deep mid-wicket boundary by Russell. The umpires get together and go upstairs. Soft signal is out.
Piyush Chawla to Ben Cutting. Play and a miss! Chawla bowls it flatter and quicker through the air, on middle, Cutting is a bit early into the shot and hence misses. He is hit on the body.
Piyush Chawla to Ben Cutting. FOUR! Yet another short delivery has been treated with brute force. It's pulled over mid-wicket and the fielder in the deep has no chance. 'Cutting loose' flashes on the giant screen.
Piyush Chawla to Ben Cutting. SIX! 200 comes up for Mumbai with still 4 balls to go. Karthik will be already thinking - was it a good call to give Chawla this over? Flatter and shorter on middle, a seam up delivery, Cummins powers it over mid-wicket and clears the man in the deep with utmost ease.
Piyush Chawla to Ben Cutting. SIX! That's gone into the Kolkata dugout! Quicker full ball around leg, Cutting gives it the full whack of his bat and launches it over long on.

TOSS - Kolkata win the toss and choose to field first.
How often do you play your reverse fixture within three days? Very rare. Mumbai and Kolkata face each other in their second leg after locking horns just three days ago. This time at Rohit Sharma's happy hunting ground - Eden Gardens. The Men in Blue have won 9 of their last 11 games played here and have not lost against the hosts in the last seven encounters. If they win tonight by a big margin they have an opportunity to swap positions with them on the points table and move fourth. Should be a thrilling encounter, as Kolkata, playing in front of their home crowd, would be raring to go and get the better of the visitors this time. Be with us for the toss.
We're done with this game. A one-sided affair where Mumbai steamrolled Kolkata and their fortunes appear to be changing as we are approaching the business end of the tournament. The action now moves to Feroz Shah Kotla where Delhi will play host to Hyderabad on 10th May at 2000 IST (1430 GMT). Do join us for all the action. Cheers!
