1st Inn
2nd Inn
End of Over : 20.0DD: 162/5
Delhi lost a couple more which pegged them back even further. They were struggling at 97/5 in the 15th over. Chennai were dominating proceedings at that stage and it looked like they might bundle out the hosts under 150, but Patel and Shankar had other ideas. The duo batted superbly and smashed six maximums, four of which came in the final over of the innings when Bravo had the ball. He had a terrible outing, conceded over 50 runs with no wickets. Chennai's weakness was exposed once again in this game, their inability to control the run-flow at the death might put them in trouble in the playoffs. But, in saying that, 163 is not a daunting target and Delhi will have to bowl really well to defend this total. Join us back in a while for Chennai's reply.
A big final over means Delhi have got a decent score on the board. Vijay Shankar and Harshal Patel smashed 65 off just 32 balls and have given their bowlers something to bowl at. Rishabh Pant tried to up the ante and he succeeded for a while, before Ngidi came back for his second and got a couple of important wickets in the 11th over which dented Delhi's progress. He was the star performer with the ball for Chennai. He finished with figures of 3-0-14-2.

Feels overall performance has been good but yes, he is disappointed with the loss. Adds he told boys not to look at the points table and just focus on this game. He is happy with the batting department, openers have been doing bulk of the work but wants the middle order to contribute more. States 100 different plans can be given to a bowler but every bowler has different strengths and he can shuffle the bowlers as per the conditions.
The Delhi bowlers used the conditions to their favor. Everybody except for Avesh Khan, who took a pounding, has exceptional figures to their name. Trent Boult and Amit Mishra were the highlight as the two finished with combined figures of, 8-0-40-4. The pacers used their variations to great effect. Whereas, the spinners too varied their pace to which the Chennai batsmen had not answers to.
Tremendous bowling effort by Delhi as they have managed to defend a target which by many was quipped as not enough against a strong batting line-up. Chasing a decent total, the opening pair got the away side off to a solid start. But once the Powerplay ended, run-scoring got very difficult. Watson departed immediately, but Ambati Rayudu looked extremely fluent, though he fell soon after scoring his fifty. Billings and Raina went in quick succession which saw MS Dhoni needing a lot to do. He too could not come to the fore and the visitors fell short by quite a few runs.

Delhi Daredevils vs Chennai Super Kings Highlights And Cricket Score 52th Match - T20 Commentary
Hello and a warm welcome to our coverage of the game between Delhi and Chennai. Match 52 of the Indian T20 League at Feroz Shah Kotla. The hosts are already out of the tournament but they will be playing to salvage some pride. For Dhoni's side, it is all about solidifying their position in the table and a win here will ensure they finish in the top two. The last time these two sides met, Chennai came out on top. The home team tonight, will be out for revenge. Do stay tuned as we bring you the toss and the other match related updates shortly.
So that is it from this game. Delhi have come out victorious here tonight. This result though will not make a lot of difference on the table as the teams will remain on the position they are on. The Indian T20 League continues as we have two games for you on Saturday. it will be Rajasthan taking on Bangalore first in Jaipur at 1600 local (1030 GMT) and then Hyderabad will be facing Kolkata in their own den at 2000 local (1430 GMT). Till then, take care and goodbye.

Informs he was just watching the ball and playing it on its merit. Ends by saying he has worked on his own game and he has looked to stick to the basics.
Shreyas Iyer, the Delhi skipper, says they were desperate for this victory and they are satisfied as they have got it against a team which is considered as a very strong unit. Credits Harshal Patel for the way he batted and bowled. He mentions they were always ready for everything but they could not execute their plans in all the games.
MS Dhoni, the Chennai skipper, opines that the wicket got difficult as the game progressed which was the reason why their batsmen found it difficult to score runs and even credits the bowlers from the opposition for bowling well. Says it is difficult to predict how the wicket will behave and feels team needs to be very practical about what went wrong.
