Namibia skipper, Gerhard Erasmus, gets the Man of the Match award for his superb half ton. On his back-to-back half tons, Erasmus says that as a leader of the side he needed to step up and he is happy he did that. Adds that if the batters can get the timing right, the longer boundary should not be an issue. On the over where he hit 4 consecutive sixes, Erasmus says that he was happy to hit those runs from the middle of the bat. Adds that the entire batting has not fired together yet but they are not worried about it and will stay calm. On the bowlers, Erasmus mentions that the bowlers are skillful and if they can bowl on good lines and lengths, they can get any batters in the world out. Going into the next phase of the tournament, the skipper hopes that maybe the senior pros of the side can turn up in these pressure games and help the side win. On the dropped catches, Erasmus mentions that things like this happen. Adds that they have held on quite a few catches in the tournament so they can't term this as a weakness.
Earlier in the day, it was the Gerhard Erasmus show. He played aggressively throughout his knock of 72 runs off 46 balls.
