South Africa vs Sri Lanka Highlights And Cricket Score 2nd Match - ODI Commentary
For the Islanders, their pacers did a decent job in the first half and Isuru Udana stood out with his excellent figures. Major disappointment though were their two main spinners, Jeffrey Vandersay and Jeevan Mendis. Both failed to find any rhythm and went for aplenty. It's a good pitch for batting. The bowlers got some help with the new balls but nothing substantial after that. Having said that, South Africa's bowling will have extra pace and zip, and they also have a good variety in the spin department. Not going to be easy for Sri Lanka, let's see how they approach. Do join us in a short while.
200 in the first 30 overs and 338 on the whole in 50 overs. South Africa won't be entirely pleased with their batting efforts. Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis spent decent time in the middle and the latter in particular looked in fine form. There were plenty of starts but we didn't get to see any 3-digit score from any batsman. Sri Lanka made a good comeback after the 30th over but still have plenty of work to do with their death bowling (46 runs came in the last 3 overs). Andile Phehlukwayo, Dwaine Pretorius and Chris Morris showed their hitting prowess, trying to stake their claim as the number one all-rounder of the team.

The best bowler on show though was Andile Phehlukwayo who took a 4-wicket haul. Their main spinners were not too impressive as both Imran Tahir and Tabraiz Shamsi struggled. Another thing worth mentioning was the fielding of the African side. Overall a good outing for them.
Easy victory for South Africa! They never really got pushed in the field and have registered a comprehensive victory. Chasing a 300-plus target, Sri Lanka needed Kusal Perera to fire up front but he bagged a 2-ball duck. Dimuth Karunaratne did well to hold one end up and also constructed a couple of 50-plus partnerships with Kusal Mendis and Angelo Mathews. Although, they never looked like going after the target. Good batting practice for their skipper and Mathews but apart from them, there wasn't much fight shown.
