Bangladesh did a good job in the field, barring the last 10 overs. That has cost them big and now there will be extra pressure on their batting to overhaul a target of 295. Shafiul Islam was the pick of the bowlers, however, he suffered at the death. Soumya Sarkar continued to impress with the ball and finished with a 3-wicket haul. A strong batting show from the Islanders in their quest to clean sweep the Bangla Tigers. The star of the last match, Avishka Fernando flopped today but the rest of the top batsmen stepped up. They kept on forming partnerships and in spite of Bangladesh tightening the screws in the middle overs, the hosts managed to find a way to score runs. Karunaratne and Perera did an excellent job up front and then Mathews along with Mendis formed a century partnership. Bangladesh skipper, Tamim admits they would have loved to bat first as well but tells the plan remains the same. Says in the last game they did not have a great start and they let themselves down. He feels that today they will put up a better show. On his team changes, Tamim informs us that Mustafizur has a niggle so he misses out along with Mosaddek Hossain.

Sri Lankan skipper Dimuth Karunaratne says that they are batting first as it looks like a good wicket and they want to take the advantage. Informs there are four changes in his side as they want to give chance to the youngsters. Says there is no change in the plan and they are looking to continue their good form.
