Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh Highlights And Cricket Score 3rd Match - ODI Commentary
Bangladesh did a good job in the field, barring the last 10 overs. That has cost them big and now there will be extra pressure on their batting to overhaul a target of 295. Shafiul Islam was the pick of the bowlers, however, he suffered at the death. Soumya Sarkar continued to impress with the ball and finished with a 3-wicket haul. It's a pitch where stroke-making is not easy once the balls get old. Hence, the start will be the key for Bangladesh. Let's see how the chase pans out. Do join us in a short while.
A strong batting show from the Islanders in their quest to clean sweep the Bangla Tigers. The star of the last match, Avishka Fernando flopped today but the rest of the top batsmen stepped up. They kept on forming partnerships and in spite of Bangladesh tightening the screws in the middle overs, the hosts managed to find a way to score runs. Karunaratne and Perera did an excellent job up front and then Mathews along with Mendis formed a century partnership. All these efforts would have meant nothing though had Dasun Shanaka not provided the impetus.
A quick interview with Angelo Mathews. He says that it was hot and humid and this is for what they work extremely hard. Tells that this is the best wicket of the series and feels that they have got a very good score. Wants his team to bowl and field well and defend it now. Adds that once the ball gets old, it stops a bit onto the bat. Praises the knocks of Karunaratne, Perera and Mendis and once again says that they have put a good score on the board.
106 runs in the last 10 overs and it's a very big finish from Sri Lanka. It all started with the cameo from Dasun Shanaka and his quickfire partnership with Angelo Mathews. Bangladesh's bowlers completely lost the plot as the hosts lifted their final score to close to 300.

PITCH REPORT - Russell Arnold says there is a good covering of grass and feels that there will be more runs on the board than the last game. Arnold reckons the side winning the toss will like to bat first. Reckons that the pitch will slow down after the first 10 overs and there will be turn on offer in the second innings. Thinks 270-280 is a winning total on this pitch.

Feels that each and every player goes through these kinds of phases (talking about his lean patch) and you use your experience and trust your ability to come out of it. Hopes that this series win will help them build momentum for future games.
A completely one-sided match! Sri Lanka posted a big total on the board, mainly due to the onslaught in the last 10 overs by their batsmen. In pursuit, Bangladesh never got going. Leaving alone Soumya Sarkar, the batting meekly surrendered and didn't put up any fight. Taijul Islam had some fun towards the end and reduced the defeat margin with his entertaining knock. Just like their batting, Sri Lanka's bowling was also right on the money. Especially, their pacers were brilliant and picked seven wickets combined. Dasun Shanaka stood out with three wickets and it was a good all-round performance by him as it was his 14-ball 30 knock that provided the much-needed impetus to the Sri Lankan innings in the death overs.
