Such targets are always tricky and with the surface also being tricky, we could be in for a good second half here. Bangladesh will need to bowl well, not like they did last time around. Sri Lanka will know, if they get two good partnerships, the game is more or less in their bag. Will Sri Lanka seal the series here or will Bangladesh make 1-1? Stay tuned to fine out in a while.

Mehedi Hasan who is up for an interview says Mushfiqur was excellent today and he executed his plans really well. Admits that he deserved to get a hundred. Mehedi tells they had lost 4 quick wickets so Mushfiqur just held one end and was looking to bat till the end, which he did. On the pitch, Mehedi says that it is on the slower side and there is spin on offer for the bowler. Mehedi further adds that he thinks 238 is a good score and he is confident of defending it.

Sri Lanka on the other hand, will be disappointed with how things ended. They had Bangladesh on the mat at 117 for 6 as the pacers ran through the top order. Akila Dananjaya then got blew away the middle order. It seemed like Sabbir and Rahim would stitch another important stand but the former was run out. At that time, it looked like, Bangladesh would be bundled out for below 150. However, Mehedi Hasan then played the perfect foil to Rahim. The two added 84 and gave some respectability to the score. Rahim's flourish right at the end, saw Bangladesh get to a total they would be pleased with.

An excellent recovery from Bangladesh! An excellent innings from Rahim, one can say, he has dug his team out of a hole all by himself. He is congratulated by the Sri Lankan players as he walks off and due to him, Bangladesh have a competitive total on the board.
