Australia vs England Highlights And Cricket Score 4th Match - ODI Commentary
Once Finch fell, Marsh took the onus of runs scoring onto him. He took a liking to Adil Rashid and hit him for 25 runs in one over. He went onto score his second ton of the series and while he was batting the visitors looked like crossing 320. But it wasn't to be, Willey was exceptional at the death as his three wicket over changed the scenario. He finished with figures of 7-0-43-4 and was the pick of the bowlers along with Mark Wood. The target though is still a stiff one especially on a wicket which is a touch two-paced. The English batters though are in exceptional form and will back themselves to chase this down. Will the hosts go 4-0 up in the series or will the away side's bowlers come to the fore. Join us in a while to find out.
What a roller coaster innings this has been! Australia would be happy with their effort. Aaron Finch and Travis Head started cautiously and chipped away at runs with ease. The former was looking to play through the innings and allowed his partner to take centre stage. Head once again looked fluent as he brought up his second consecutive fifty but could not make it big. Then Shaun Marsh came out to the middle. He started slowly but supported Finch well, who got to a well-deserved century. He though, could not add to his ton.
David Willey to Jhye Richardson. Another full ball and driven to mid off. Both the batsmen are adamant to take two and completes it with a dive. An excellent last over by Willey, just six from it sees Australia end on 310/8.

A slower ball by Willey is launched towards the latter at long on. He runs to his left and takes it. He then realises his momentum is taking him over the ropes and hence throws it up in the air towards Overton who comes running towards him from deep mid-wicket. He completes it to give Willey his second wicket in consecutive balls. Marsh walks back after playing another magnificent innings. However, England will be pleased to see the back of him as this could easily make a difference of 10 to 20 runs to the final score.
Marsh is a goner! The umpires though have gone upstairs to check if the catch is clean.
Tim Paine walks out to the middle.
David Willey to Alex Carey. OUT! Carey holes out! Willey gets his first! A low full toss on the leg stump, not the easiest of balls to put away and Carey just found out why. He tries to get underneath it but is not able to. He lofts it towards deep mid-wicket where Overton comes running in and takes it easily. The good thing though for Australia is the batsmen have crossed and Marsh is on strike.

Man of the Match, Jason Roy, says he is enjoying his time in this series. He feels he is just focused on doing his job for his team. He mentions he is trying to pace his innings and set a good platform for the batters coming in.
England skipper, Eoin Morgan, feels they played well here. Admits they struggled to take wickets but the run rate was always in check. Mentions a lot depends on conditions and this one was a good wicket to bat on. Adds further at the half way time they were happy with the target. Credits Overton for the way he bowled. Ends by saying a new challenge awaits at Manchester and he hopes to continue the good show over there.
Australian skipper, Tim Paine, says they were at least 30 or 40 short after the platform they got courtesy Finch and Marsh. He feels the dropped catch was the turning point. He adds further they were poor with the ball up front. Ends by saying they have come here with an inexperienced side against the best in the world and hopes they learn a lot from the tour.
After Australia scored 310, courtesy Finch and Marsh's ton, one would have thought they had a real chance of winning. But once again their bowlers were below par. Their pacers were guilty of either bowling too wide, full or short, had high economy rates and only Billy Stanlake managed to pick a wicket. Yes, Paine did drop the catch of Hales but I do not think that would have made a difference. Agar was the pick of the bowlers for them who finished with figures of 8-0-48-2 but lacked support from the other end.
A mockery is what England have made of this run chase. Yes, you have read it right, 311 has been chased down without breaking a sweat. Chasing a big total on a wicket which was slightly two-paced, the English openers once again milked the Australian bowling. Their stand was worth 174 with Jason Roy scoring yet another magnificent ton which came up of just 81 balls. Jonny Bairstow too, continued his good form but could not get his century. The hosts did lose both the openers in quick succession but the job was done by them. They had the game in their pocket and the batters who then walked out ensured there were no great hiccups. Buttler's meaty blows and his fifty was the icing on the cake to round what was another brilliant English performance with the bat.
Michael Neser to Jos Buttler. FOUR! What a way to end the match. Full around off and Buttler stays inside the line and hits it through the line. The sound off the ball meeting the bat will tell you that the ball has raced away to the cover fence. ENGLAND WIN BY 6 WICKETS WITH 32 BALLS TO SPARE.

Morgan slashes at it and edges it to Paine who takes it and appeals. The umpire raises his finger but Morgan feels he has not hit it and goes for the review. Replays show there is a spike on Snicko and Eoin is given his marching orders. Australia still in it. England need another 67 in 78 balls with 6 wickets in hand.
