The ball is in India's court now. 163, on this surface, is a gettable one, and they should too with the kind of batting line-up they have. But, given Pakistan's attack and the pressure of the occasion, a couple of early wickets and anything can happen. Much like Pakistan's, India's middle order has shown to be frail in the past. Kedar Jadhav is being interviewed by Ramiz Raja on the sidelines. He says that he is enjoying his bowling. Mentions that his role is to contain the batsmen and try to get in as many dot balls as possible. Adds that if he gets wickets in the process, that is a bonus. Informs that he tries to read the batsmen and bowl accordingly. On being asked whether he intentionally bowls with such a low-arm action or not, he replies that he wants it that way. States that he sticks to a wicket-to-wicket line. Adds that he doesn't give much pace on the ball so it is not easy for the batsmen to hit him around. Reckons that the ball will spin after 20-30 overs in the second innings. Ends by saying that they need to go out there and get the runs.

Credit to the Indian bowlers, they were exceptional right from the start. It was a collective effort. Kumar started things off, then Kuldeep followed by breaking that all-important partnership, Jadhav then played his part in the middle overs and then Bumrah contributed towards the end. There were a few dropped chances and some sloppy fielding efforts, but fortunately for them, none were costly.

A clinical show with the ball from the Indians, that too after being asked to bowl. Barring that 82-run stand between Azam and Malik, nobody put up any kind of a fight, not worth anything of note at least. The two openers were sent back early by Kumar, but then the Azam-Malik stand provided good resistance and shored things up too. Though, the moment Kuldeep got rid of Babar, things went downhill from there for the Men in Green. Wickets kept falling and eventually, they were rolled up for a low score.

Khan decides to give the charge and seeing this, Jadhav shortens the length and fires it outside off. It goes past the outside edge and Dhoni, lightning as always, whips the bails off in a flash. It's taken upstairs and replays show that Shadab couldn't drag his back leg inside in time. That's the end of that.

This is a good phase of play for India and they will like to make hay while the sun shines.

Time for Drinks! It has been a really good recovery from Pakistan, courtesy the unbeaten 50-run stand between Malik and Azam. The Men in Green had lost a couple of early wickets but these two have shown a lot of composure. The scoring rate for Pakistan was under 3 in Powerplay 1 but they picked up pace later on, going around 6 an over in the next six. The dropped catch of Malik just before the break will not help India's cause. They need to take their chances.

India skipper, Rohit Sharma, says that they would have batted first as well but nevertheless they know what they are doing now. Adds that they will play their upcoming games at the same ground and it is nice that they will chase today. Credits Hong Kong for the way they played in the last game but is happy that they were successful in getting over the line. Feels that it will be a fantastic game against Pakistan and they are all geared up for it. Informs there are two changes - Jasprit Bumrah comes in for Shardul Thakur and Khaleel Ahmed makes way for Hardik Pandya.

Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed, says that they will bat first today. Informs that they are going in with the same eleven that featured in their last game. Mentions that it is a good batting pitch and they want to put India under pressure. Ends by saying that they will target to put up a score above 280.

PITCH REPORT - Sunil Gavaskar says that the same pitch which was used yesterday is being used today as well. Mentions that there are no footmarks on the surface and there is no damage inflicted on it. Adds that the ball is expected to come onto the bat but a little slowly. Feels that the bowlers won't enjoy bowling here much while the batsmen will have a good time. Reminds that Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal got some turn yesterday but it is a good batting pitch overall.

Shikhar Dhawan is being interviewed on the sidelines. He says that they were in England for a long time and those were difficult conditions. Adds that his best was not good enough there but he didn't lose his self-belief. States that he came back into the nets, worked hard and is happy to have scored a ton in the last game against Hong Kong. Mentions that he believes in his process and wants to keep going strong. Adds that from the last two months he hadn't scored a half century or century and he wanted to perform well. Ends by saying that it was important for him to get amongst the runs before the game against Pakistan.

Pakistan, on the other hand, are high on confidence at the moment. They hardly broke a sweat against Hong Kong and the fact that they won the finals of the 2017 Champions Trophy against their arch-rivals, India, gives them a psychological edge. They have a well-balanced team and will be banking on their bowlers again. These two sides have already made it to the Top Four and it might help them to express themselves with a lot of freedom. Expect a cracker!

India were in danger of facing an upset against Hong Kong last evening but their experience came to the fore. It is not easy to play back-to-back games especially in such hot conditions and that will test the fitness of the players. Their middle order woes are a big concern for them. It will be in the limelight again and it will be interesting to see how they deal with the massive pressure. We might see a few changes in the Indian set-up. KL Rahul might come in place of Dinesh Karthik while Jasprit Bumrah is almost certain to replace an out of touch Shardul Thakur.
