Kuwait boasts of the highest run-scorer and the highest wicket-taker of the ACC Western Region T20 series in their ranks. Ravija Sandaruwan, who hit 67 in the semi-final has scored 207 runs in four innings with two half-centuries, while Kuwait pacer Mohammed Aslam has taken 11 wickets in four matches.
United Arab Emirates will square off against Qatar in the semi-final of ACC Western Region Series 2020. This T20 match will be played on February 26, 2020, at Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 2), Al Amarat, Oman. UAE team has completely dominated the on-going series as they have not lost a single game yet.

Oman will square off against Maldives in ACC Western Region Series T20 match no 9. The game will be held on February 25, 2020, at Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1), Al Amarat, Oman. This will be the last group stage match for both teams. ACC Western Region T20 series has started from February 23 and it will end on February 27, 2020.
United Arab Emirates (UAE) thrashed Iran by 10 wickets in their opening match and beat Kuwait by 47 runs in their next game to climb on top of Group B with four points from two matches. Saudi Arabia were thrashed by Kuwait by nine wickets in their first match but they bounced back to beat Iran by the same margin in their penultimate group game.
Bahrain will square off against Maldives in ACC Western Region Series T20 match no 8 on February 24, 2020. The game will be held at Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1), Al Amarat, Oman. This will be the fourth game of Group A where other participants are Oman and Qatar. While Group B consists of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
United Arab Emirates faced Iran in their opening match of the tournament. And dished out a superb performance to win the match by ten wickets.Iran wee restricted to just 61 for eight in their 20 overs and UAE then chased it in just 5.3 overs with all ten wickets in hand.
Speaking of both the teams’ performance in their first match, Kamran Khan scored a 53-ball 88 while opening the Qatar innings against Maldives and riding on his specular show, Qatar went on to register a comprehensive victory by 106 runs.
Talking about the performance of both the sides in their respective opening games, Iran were completely outplayed by United Arab Emirates (UAE) and lost the match by 10 wickets. Neither the batsmen nor the bowlers were able to put up a good show and they must be eyeing to rectify their mistakes in order to get a different outcome.
