In the press conference ahead of his opening game against West Indies, Pakistani skipper said, “The salwar kameez is our national dress and I got instructions from the board to do all these things so I tried to promote our national dress. Talking about Pakistan, the team lost the practice game against Afghanistan by three wickets. The second match against Bangladesh was washed out without a single ball being bowled. For now, the team heaves a sigh of relief as pacer Mohammed Amir is declared fit after being doubtful for the first game. Pakistan will play their opening game of the World Cup 2019 against West Indies today at the Trent Bridge in Nottinghamshire.
