Sanjay Manjrekar has a new suggestion. The former Indian Test cricketer was criticised for his ‘bits and pieces’ comment on Jadeja, who hit back at Manjrekar asking him to respect players with more international matches than him. But Manjrekar isn’t among those that back off from expressing themselves for fear of being trolled. In his latest tweet, the former Indian international suggested that team India needs more batsmen from “Virat’s mould” for the no 4 & 5 batting position. Someone, who can score at a strike rate of 80/90 even while building an inning, and run hard singles.

Twitter though was back to their hatred for Manjrekar and soon started trolling him for his suggestions. Many shushed him up and asked him to stop commenting, while some others asked him to stay away from suggesting anything about the Indian cricket team.

India crashed-out of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 following their 18-run defeat to New Zealand in the semi-final. The two-time champions throughout their entire CWC 2019 campaign were heavily dependent on the top-order with batsmen in the middle struggling for runs. India had, however, topped the league phase of CWC 2019 with just one defeat in eight league games.
